@Kino your turn ;3
The word "fuck" was nearly as bad as the rest of the situation: it was a sign that things were quickly approaching—or maybe they had already passed—the point of no return. She had intended to be strong and block anyone from fighting but she found herself shrinking down. "Al," she said weakly, knowing that any attempt to reason with the two wolves was futile but wanting to try.

"No one needs to beg for anything," her voice a frantic whine, "He's just trying to protect himself—" Sahalie could apologize for anyone. She felt her heart about to burst and it was hard to breath. The loner was talking again and it was so clear to her that the white man would not back down even if it meant his life. The furty in his tone nearly made her piss herself. "Please," her lips mouthed to no one in particular.

Her pleas were unheard and any peace that had remained was lost when the injured wolf finally released the rest of his pent up rage. Low as she was to the ground his jaws went right over her, and her eyes were wide with terror as she watched those ugly fangs snap closed. "No!" she screamed, trying to be as forceful and intimidating as the loner had been to her but failing anyway, "Please no!" Her small body jumped up, aiming to knock the white wolf out of the way of whatever retaliation Alastor would surely make.

"Run, please run. Get away from here." This was all she could do to save him.

Any attempts to calm him or deter him by Sahalie were completely lost on him, adrenaline coursing through his veins like a drug and he was feeling hooked. He was feeling powerful, like he could take on anything. And it only got worse with the man’s comment. "Your momma teach you to talk so tough, boy? Or did you learn that all on your own?" he said, and everything in Kino seemed to freeze. Muscles balked and he felt a salty rage burning brighter in his stomach. What did this mutt think of himself to think he had any right to say anything about Kino’s mother? No one talked about his mother like that, disrespected her like that.

A new, more feral growl seemed to come from him and when the man lunged the pale yearling was more than ready for the action. He lunged forward himself, jaws open prepared to grab anything he could sink his teeth into. But, he wasn’t prepared for Hal to throw herself between them. Topaz gaze honed in on her, going wide in alarm. She was directly in his path way, directly in harms way. His paws dug into the earth, claws scraping and shoulders flexing as he used every fiber of his willpower to throw his frame away from his current path. He turned, auds folding back and registering for a split second that he was now in direct line of one of the man’s snaps. He was able to duck, but only just so. Teeth met with his ear, a searing pain traveling from there and scraping down at an angle to just above his eye. His teeth clicked as he grunted, skittering to a halt a few feet away.

Head wounds, being in their nature, bled quite a bit. Blood dripped from his torn ear down the side of his head, and the wound above his eye bled down into it as well. He squeezed shut the affected eye, having to rely on his right eye now instead of both. God damnit, Hal, he internally cursed. But, still it would take more than that to stop him. The massive boy surged forward, attempting to plow into the man and knock him to the ground. Kino had no intention of killing the man, but he certainly wanted to watch him high-tail it out of there. But…perhaps if a little blood was spilt it wouldn’t be too bad. He’d made the boy bleed, now he would too.

Everything was chaos, and Larkspur felt just as wild as he looked. He hadn't managed to scare either of the yearlings off, and instead had only further instigated their little scuffle. The white man's eyes were wide with fear and rage, his lips pulled back to reveal every ugly tooth. He'd managed to scrape the silvery boy before the darker one had shoved him out of the way. The man stumbled, but was able to keep himself off of the ground and in a less vulnerable position. Larkspur turned to face his challenger head on, his mind fogged in fear and the overwhelming desire to fight his attacker off.

Lark attempted to toss himself out of the way, however only found that his body wasn't as quick as he'd originally thought. His injured shoulder hit the ground first and he yelped. His first thought was to jump right up, but he felt trapped to the ground by his own weight... or the weight of the boy, he wasn't sure. Down, but not out, Larkspur was sent into a snarling, barking, snapping sort of fit. Most of what he'd managed to snap at was the air, the loud click of his teeth echoing through his head. He didn't care what he bit, or even who he bit, just as long as they'd get away from him.

Hey if u want him to bite Sahalie go for it ;}
Also I'm so bad at fights w/short posts whoops

Somewhere in all the screaming and snarling it occurred to her that there was some red stuff on her face. It was blood. It was warm and fresh. At first she assumed that it was the loners, with all his barely healed wounds, but as her head whipped back and forth in the confusion and action she saw for the first time the trickle of scarlet streaming down Alastor's face. Next, she became aware of the sharp pains radiating up her cheek and cold horror set in. Her dark paw rubbed passively, distantly, at her muzzle and came away red. Was it her blood? It didn't matter. Any blood, no matter whose it was, was too much for the girl.

When the Bend girl looked back up it was to see a silver mass barreling into the loner already on the ground. Every fur on her body bristled with the frustration: she had told him to run, what was he doing? This was all so wrong. Alastor was standing over him and it made her stick to her stomach to think that she had no idea what he would do. It was possible that knocking this poor stranger to the ground would not be enough for him. Something was wrong: she had no idea who this silver wolf was. "ALASTOR!" she shrieked, though not expecting it to have any affect on the boy. The only thing anyone would listen to was action.

And so she dove towards him, hoping in vain that her small form would be enough to shove him away from the loner. Her jaws remained firmly closed. Bruises were all she could bring herself to inflict on anyone. But his body was a solid wall. She couldn't even be sure that he felt her. Leaning back she raised her paws, "Alastor" delivering the heaviest plows her frail paws could. "Please stop, please. I'll do anything. Please."

His body collided roughly with the man’s, sending his opponent sprawling hard into the ground. His bulk was placed over the man, weight boring down and holding him steady as he dodged snap after snap, catching a few of them in a jaw spar. Snarls echoed through the forest from both wolves, auds pinned back and canines flashing in the dim light. He didn’t even think about his movements anymore, raw instinct taking hold of him. Kino had never trained to fight before, never even given it truly a second thought other than the spar between him and Hal. He had no tactics, only brute strength to keep him up and his attacker at bay.

Out of his rage, he felt a shove against his shoulder.

His head whipped to the side, teeth bared and another snarl bubbling up before it was chocked in his chest. Suddenly, he was seeing her. Really seeing Sahalie, looking right at her and recognizing the look of pure, unadulterated terror in her face. Her scent reeked of it, permeated the air around them mixing with the scent of blood. And, he realized with a suddenly sick feeling in his stomach, the terror wasn’t for him. It was because of him. Oh god, what have I done. What did I do? he screamed to himself, topaz gaze going wide with comprehension and coherency. Another searing pain split across his neck as teeth scoured him, a whine jumping from his throat as he backed off.

“You….You need to leave. We’re part of a pack nearby, I could call and they would be here any second and it wouldn’t be just me you’d have to deal with. Head south and we won’t have any more problems.” he said, his chest heaving with heavy breaths. His voice had no tone, no temper, no anything. But, inside he was in turmoil. He’d fucked everything up again, ruined everything. They were right, they’d always been right. Kino was a monster and no matter how hard he ran from it that was never going to change. He was dangerous, he was a liability. He couldn’t look Hal in the eyes, couldn’t even glance in her general direction. Shame coursed through his body at his actions in front of her, the only good thing in his life. The only good thing in this world, and he’d made her go through that. What kind of sick bastard was he? Still, he couldn’t leave her there. Not alone, not with the man. He’d make sure he left…then Kino himself would leave. He couldn’t stick around, couldn’t put them in that position ever again.

Larkspur Ritter
Larkspur struggled and struggled, but nothing he did seemed to free him from the larger wolf's grasp. He found himself unable to bite as the yearling dodged each futile attempt at a bite that he made. He was pinned uncomfortably to the ground, pain from his previous wounds searing. The thought of stopping didn't even cross his mind, instead he attempted to free himself. He squirmed and struggled, kicked and swiped, but was trapped under Alastor's weight. Despite that the odds were all stacked against him, he wasn't the sort of man to give up. He continued to snap, and when the girl had distracted the boy long enough, he went straight for his exposed neck.

He let go the instant the boy was off of him and took a giant breath, which ended in sputtering and coughing. Lark struggled up to his paws, and had he been attacked he'd be down and out for the count. He managed to get up, fall down, then up again. By then, the boy was telling him to leave, then spoke of their pack -- a pack Sahalie had told him was friendly moments ago -- and then to go south. The man chortled, then coughed, "South," he said it sarcastically, "Right."

He wasn't going to let a little kid tell him what to do, much less what direction he was supposed to be taking, but he'd been beat. Larkspur took a step back, his tail tightly curled under his belly as he made his retreat. He continued to growl, his eyes pinned on Alastor even as he moved away. When he felt far enough away to turn, he stopped growling, glanced at Sahalie, then ran off.

Sky-blue eyes fell upon her and she shrunk back down, wondering if she ought to fear for her life. The stranger was at his neck now and she just wanted to scream. Alastor shouldn't get hurt because of her. Not even a sigh of relief could escape her as her friend stepped away and the white man released his feeble grip. The loner was crawling back to his feet, now, but she could only press her belly more firmly into the ground. At least it felt something like support when everything else was falling apart.

It was her fault.

She didn't even have the peace of mind to get frustrated with Al as she listened to him reiterate what she had been trying to say all along: just to get the loner to leave. Or that he was wrong that the others would automatically take his side. Someone would have listened to her, right? There was still good in the world, right? The loner could head in any direction he wanted, it was a free world, right? Her furtive golden eyes peered back and forth between the two wolves. The man clearly did not intend to head south, and she hoped to go Al wouldn't mind. The caustic tone wasn't doing anyone any favors.

"Al, lets go" she said, wanting to tug at his nape like she used to but feeling uncertain. Strength returned to her only slowly. "We need to talk." But instead of sounding forceful she only sounded tired.

He watched warily as the man struggled to his feet. Kino wasn’t guilty about doing what he’d done to the man, he’d been a threat to someone he cared about and for that he wasn’t the least bit sorry. But he was incredibly sorry about how it had gone down in front of Hal, wishing he could shield her from those horrors of the world. But…it seemed he himself was a horror of the world. The man looked at him, and for a second he thought that he might make another move at him. But instead he simply turned with a snarky comment and a growl. Both he could deal with, the adrenaline quickly leaving his body and for the first time he was beginning to feel the ache of his wounds. They weren’t severe, but the bleeding from his head and the faint trickle from his neck was making him feel faintly drowsy.

Auds swiveled to catch her comment, “We need to talk,” and his heart hit the ground. This was it, he supposed. Sweet, amazing, wonderful as she was this had been too much. She couldn’t accept him, was probably going to tell him that she never wanted to see him again. That he was horrible and even more things that would shatter him into a million more pieces. But…he deserved it. He deserved every slicing comment, every chipped piece, every cut. A faint nod bobbed his head, “Okay,” he mumbled hoarsely and followed along with heavy paws.
