RE - A double rainbow stretches through the sky.
Patchy rain possible
67 ° F, 19 ° C

It was like this pup just never stopped. Filled with vim and joy, the girl spent her days bounding and tumbling happily through as much of the forest as she possibly could. She didn't know if her mother even worried about her anymore - she'd probably put a ton of new gray hairs on the woman's muzzle. Surely Kisla knew by now that the pup was too wild to be kept in - or even anywhere near - the den at this point. Ris assumed that, as long as she didn't get hurt, she was fine. Though, she always thought that she was going father than she actually was. Stubby legs could only take you so far, after all.

Not to mention the fact that there was almost always someone else around for her to play with, and even when she was alone, the territory was highly guarded and safe. Not that Risaela was travelling the entire way through the territory at this age - she was still too young for that. She did, however, make her way between Lil's and Lav's and Oksana's dens, and liked to go to a new place every single day.

Ayti was a good playmate. The biggest wolf she knew - he was like a mountain! - allowed himself to become a personal climbing toy for the pups. Also Mace and Lachesis would play, if prompted. In fact, there were very few of her friends who didn't indulge her playfulness and wanderlust. She was learning all sorts of stuff from them - words and expressions and games and stuff. Her life was just the best.

The whirlwind pup had pushed through a bunch of dense bushes and all of the sudden, there was no more ground underneath her feet. Ris let out a sharp squeak - which was rare for her - and tumbled down the embankment into a shallow, pebble-y part of a stream that branched from the river that cut through the territory. She landed with a hard splash, right on her rump. It hurt, and the silvery pup took a couple of moments to just whine and pout about the discomfort. She certainly didn't mind being sopping wet - it'd been rainy ever since she left the den - but she did mind disappearing ground.

That was just unfair.

Rissy blinked the water from her blue eyes, then looked around to see exactly where she'd ended up. The view took her tiny breath away, and she leaned backward in awe. There were dozens of little bitty rainbows in the water droplets that were drifting around her, but up in the sky - super duper far away - there were two of the strips of color. It was so much, so bright and so pretty! Risaela's little tail started to churn up the water behind her as it wagged.

"Light!" she chirruped to herself, drawing out the L at the beginning.  It was her first actual word spoken, and one she understood well. It was one of her favorite things, after all, and it was even better when it came in so many colors.
