Risaela ???
@Laike <3

The child had never known that anyone could ever hurt as badly as she did now. She didn't want to eat, or drink, or do anything ever again in her entire life. The small sips of water she'd had at the river the day prior had sent her stomach into a roiling, sick bundle of pain. And, while it was so nice to have had Lachesis there for a little while, Ris still didn't want to see most of her packmates. It made the situation more real... more painful and more solidified. She felt a little guilty for not seeking Matheo out yet, but she didn't think she'd be able to see his green eyes and brighter fur without it being too much to bear.

He looked more like Kisla than she could ever begin to hope to.

She wasn't sure what it was that made her want to go where they'd buried her mother, but it wasn't hard to find it. The smell was fading, but still present, and led her to the place with all of the beautiful purple flowers. The lump of dirt where she'd been buried was beside another mound, likely hiding the body of a wolf that Risaela had never met before. But she was only concerned, at the moment, with her mother's. She stood beside her grave, her paws fidgeting slightly next to the fresh-churned dirt, and a horrible thought hit her.

What if Kisla wasn't dead? What if they'd buried her but she wasn't dead? Had they checked? Ris hadn't checked!

It made no sense, and logically she knew that, but logic wasn't playing a big part in her sleep-deprived mind at the moment. She began scrabbling at the dirt, trying to exhume her mother's body from the soil. She just had to check. Surely there was nothing wrong with checking.
