He wasn't exactly sure where he was heading but the once barren land had grown fruitful. Tall trees surrounding him, confing him to carefully weave his way between them. Luckily he could lean and bump between them in order to guide himself around the forest. The stench of a pack was strong the deeper into the woods he moved but he maneuvered away from it in order to save himself the trouble of angry pack wolves.

The trees thinned out for a brief moment as a soothing smell filled his nose. He lowered himself to the ground slowly. The closer he got to the soothing smelling earth below the more he could tell what he was looking at. Stocks of purple flowers lined the forest floor. It was so lovely now that he was close enough to see! Their scent soothed the tired loner and for a minute he contemplated a nap. Of course, mentioning he had smelt pack earlier he wasn't sure if that would be a very smart idea.

He stretched his legs out as he laid on his side. If he wasn't gonna nap he could at least take a short break. Surely he'd be able to slip off and be on his way before someone stumbled upon him.

Once upon a time, a flower would have been a sight for sore eyes. It would have allowed the porcelain princess the idea of believing that everything was flawless in her world. That there was no strife or hardship, that she was not broken or in pain. Yet, here she was wandering the flowers and the only thing she felt was the pain of her own abandonment. That she had nothing, aside from a refurbished relationship with Lachesis, and while her friendship with him was good, she had come expected something more. A foolish thing for a foolish and stupid woman.

Yet in her lit anger she couldn't bring herself to stomp angrily on the flowers and instead attempted to smell them. A pretty field of purple but all she could see was all the heartbreak she had endured and would endure. Anastasia hadn't even run into Lachesis' mate yet nor his children and she supposed that was probably for the best until she knew how to react.

For now the lithe woman would simply have to learn how to be on her own whilst being a part of a pack. One that was strange and new, of no value to her other than her friend's word that they were friendly and kind. Would his mate be?

He had not been relaxing for long before a pale, blurry figure came into view. Smaller than the pale man he had met by the lake. If he had had better vision he likely would have been able to pick up the other things that made he different than the lake man. She smelt similar too, though. Perhaps she hailed from his lands.

Reginald remained on the ground where the purple flowers did their best to swallow him whole and cloak him with their wonderful scent. It took a few moments for him to contemplate his actions. Did he bother explaining himself? She didn't sound very mad and it seemed like she wasn't even really focused on him. Then again he had to wonder if she'd be mad if she stumbled upon him without an explanation of what he was doing. The young male chewed on his lip as he flipped between this options.

He lifted his head off the ground, silver eyes staring at the pale blurry figure. "I'll be leaving soons, promise." Regi spoke softly before lowering his head back down into the purple flowers. That ought to be enough for her to not be completely mad, he hoped.

If it hadn't been for him raising his head she likely would have stepped on him. Instead she simply offered a quick shriek of surprise as it moved just a good few feet in front of her. "Oh geez," she sputtered as she took a step back and attempted to regain control of her breathing and the beating heart within. She was, unsurprisingly, a very easy target to surprise and thus had not been observant enough to notice the creature in front of a few paces. "You're fine -- I don't want to bother you." Assuming that he had been there long before she had been and thus deserved to keep laying there without some stranger lurking around to disrupt his slumber. With a hard swallow she made a few back-pedaling steps so as to avoid disturbing him or making him feel like he had to leave to please her.

Go figure that she would have a hard time roaming along the skirt of the Lore in her own silence. Typically she embraced not being alone but she certainly didn't want to upset anyone or make them move off. All the woman wanted was to find some way to cope with the things she had lost in her absence.

Her shriek was beyond unexpected. Regi quickly shuffled from the ground to a standing position, shaking his head softly as she moved away from him. The stranger's words were met with a soft smirk from the silver-eyed male. "A bit lates for that don't you thinks?" He didn't know what he did that had caught her so off-guard. Maybe she had trouble seeing too. Or maybe hearing or smelling. Regardless he didn't put much more thought into it. He had company and now that he wasn't gonna be able to rest he ought to enjoy it.

"I'ms Reginald." He introduced himself with a small yawn quickly following after. The flowers giving off their scent did nothing to help wake him up. Silver eyes looked at the pale form across from him. He'd been running into a lot of pale wolves lately, hadn't he? Regi didn't think he had found himself that far north again. If he really was starting to get that north he would have to make a mental note to swerve around his home. The last thing he wanted was some sort of emotional family reunion. Yuck.

Not being the best at conversations, he left the ball in her court. Perhaps she'd have something useful for him to hear about.
