You've found a crop of apples, but they're floating in a nearby pond! Can you bob them all out?
Also just for fun - Girls who placed the apple they bobbed under their pillows were said to dream of their future lover.

Ayla Donata

Ayla wasn't usually one to break the rules. Most of the time the border was a fence that kept her contained but today, something was beckoning the girl deeper into the dark woods that surrounded the sun lit clearing that defined the center of her world. Perhaps it was the scent of her siblings, off causing trouble without her once again, or maybe it was her small adventure with her mother that had instilled some new found confidence in the youngster, or maybe it was just a desire to get away from the stinky, sometimes creepy guy that had recently joined the pack... Maybe it was all of the above.

She wasn't even trying to shrink in on herself as she strode through the trees, envisioning the way her parents walked in her mind and trying to imitate the movement as best she could with her lengthening limbs and oversized ears. In fact, she might have strolled straight past the pond without ever noticing the bright red fruit bobbing near the surface if she hadn't stumbed over her own paws at just that moment. A hushed "Wow..." left her lips as she drew closer to get a better look. Boy were @Mabel and @Corsair gonna be jealous when she told them about this!

Leaving Quaking Vale had been an easy choice – the hard part was deciding what to do afterwards. Blackwatch Canyon didn’t exactly exist anymore, and while maybe Marianna could head back down south and see if she could find Finch or any of the other wolves scattered to the wind, it seemed an awfully long way to go for a ‘maybe’. There was also the possibility that she might run into Kino again, like maybe he hadn’t gone far into the woods or something – but the large wolf wasn’t sure she wanted that, either, so she just…wandered.

At least aimless wandering was something Ari Leigh was a damn near expert at.

The scent of a nearby pack didn’t bother her in the way it should, and so the loner had no reservations as she went lumbering down and over to where she heard a female voice. Ears pricked forward as her eyes moved from young wolf to the girl’s discovery, and she gave an amused little bark. “Shit, girl, you found a real treasure! You gonna eat ‘em all yourself?”

A strangers voice jolted the girl from her wonderment but it didn't wipe the smile from her face. The tone was friendly enough and while she might have been the shyest of the Donata brood that wasn't to say she was a downright coward... just... sensible was all. Her golden eyes considered the other wolfs posture, Ayla's tail waving in easy greeting, a touch of relief that it wasn't the stinky one coming after her again. But something else the stranger said caught her attention, and her head canted to the side, "You can eat them?" She never would have considered the possibility herself.

“Sure can. I mean, not like meat ‘er anything, but they still taste good.”

And you know what tasted better? Not having to run around after the apples to eat them. They just fell from the tree and a wolf could eat as many as she wanted, easy as pie. No extra work required.

Ari’s tail continued its lazy wave as she joined the youngster at the edge of the pond, watching the little red sphered bob lazily in the waves. They’d have to do some work, given the fruit hadn’t fallen on solid ground, but still. Not like the apples could try to trick them…and it wasn’t that cold. She glanced back over at the kid. “I’ll get ‘em out for ya if you let me have a couple.”

Blackwatch Canyon bargaining at its finest.
