Hearthwood River One Touch of Nature

The smudge chased after Ferdie  before she got ahead of him to lead him in the direction of the raybows.  Rissy had showed her when she was still really little but Oksana was bigger now and she hoped she would be able to make the raybows like Rissy had.  She wanted Ferdie to see them, she thought he would like them as much as she had.

The pup led the man through the redwoods that made up her home with a slower pace than they had started. Since she was showing him around she wanted him to be able to take in the path that she had chosen. It was the first time she had showed anyone around and she wanted to do well at it.

Soon enough she recognized the little embankment that she'd had to climb up the last time she'd visited. “Raybows just over there,” she told him as she looked back at him her tail wagging excitedly. Oksana had come a couple of times since that first time but she'd never been able to make the Raybows again, she had to be able to make them this time like Rissy had done.

Ferdie Von Pelt followed his little leader, his heart grew fonder each moment he spent with her. At this point if she got tired the brute was large enough to carry her in his maw and listen to her instruction. Though even as she found away to draw light from his heart his lack of sleep was catching up with him. And his extra exertion on this game of tag was also pulling on his energy.

He came up the embankment and looked in the direction she indicated, that's far off yet, let me know if you want a nap, because I sure do he smiled closed his eyes for a long moment then reopened them and looked into her, wordlessly says he was in this journey for the long haul no matter how long it took.

The fact there was no parent lingering over this pup bothered him a little the fact her could step in where the others have failed strengthened his resolve and his love for her. god did her love her already... yep... he loved Sana and he would be loyal to the pup until death.

He grinned upon her Lead the way love, I'll follow you to the ends of the earth if need need he looked upon the horizon noting mid day was just pat soon evening would be upon them, all manner of nocturanal creatures would be about, but there were none in the heart of pack lands right?

It was exciting for the smudge to be leading Ferdie along on their adventure. It wasn't that long ago that she had been the one being led. In the time that her mother had been sick Oksana had the chance to find her Independence but that didn't stop her from missing Inna. Her mother was the most important wolf to her and the pup would give her the time that Lilya had said she needed.

After trekking through the trees in the direction of the part of the river Oksana knew the raybows to be they finally came to the embankment that would lead down to it. When Ferdie spoke of a nap the smudge looked back to him with a frown, “Not that far and Sana don't need nap,” she stated firmly, “Ferdie take nap after Raybow.”

She didn't care if they did anything else after the raybows but she was so excited to show them to him. The pup could hardly contain herself which showed in the very rapid wagging if her tail. She was sure Ferdie would like them as soon as he saw them.

Oksana brushed her side against what she could reach of his before bounding off to reach the top of the embankment. Once there she looked down to the river and then back to Ferdie, “You stay here,” she told him, “Sana gonna show Ferdie Raybows down there.” The pup them indicated the river with her muzzle.
