No, she’d left the idea of ruling behind long, long ago. It was just herself, now - there was no one to lead, anyway. If Nadine were still around, or Caleb, then maybe they’d have stood a chance, but Caleb was dead and she hadn’t seen Nadine in so long, and she was unlikely to find her here.
But there was a draw to this place - calling her north. She wasn’t sure what she believed in, if anything, but it felt like she was supposed to be here. Supposed to be doing… something.
Pale golden eyes stared out over the vast landscape, fixated to the northeast and narrowing just slightly. There was something out there for her - she was sure of it.
