Athena Moon
I've been brought done to my knees
but you haven't seen the last of me

Leaving the sheltered cave just outside of Relic Lore, Athena took her first steps outside and into the knee deep snow. How she got into the cave in the first place or how the four rabbits mysteriously appeared next to her was a mystery to her. However, she wasn't about to wait around and get an explanation. The last thing she remembered was searching for something important and then everything went black. She doesn't remember the two years of living within Relic Lore, leading her own pack, the friends and enemies she's created or even her two children. The last two years of her life have been erased.

With her hunger seized for now, she moved on away from the cave and towards Relic Lore. Entering the Lore through the west side of Fireweed Rise, she was unaware of what she was getting herself into. With the loss of the last two years in this place, she didn't know who to trust, who her friends were, where the safest place was, or where the best place was to hunt. She was coming into a place, that she used to know so well top to bottom, blind. Not knowing that the Rise is the most beautiful place in the spring and the mountain held you favorite sun gazing spot. It was sad really, but what was even worse, she didn't even know the accident had even happened to her.

Trekking across the deep snow was a feat, but Athena was able to find a willow tree on the outskirts of the meadow where the snow was thinner. Taking a short rest, she curled up and nestled down for a little while.

Sorry it took so long! <3

He had been homebound and kept into the confines of Willow Ridge for weeks now. His sister had seemingly deserted them and it left a horrid scar on his heart. For the winter so far Guiness had been keeping his eyes on the pups and their elder, Skana, whom he had come to adore very dearly. Her age was getting to her joints and sometimes the Guard would be able to notice when they were really starting to bother her, and he would escort her around, making sure that all she thought he was doing was keeping her company, but deep inside he knew she probably knew better. She was, after all, Willow Ridge’s only advisor. He needed to get away for a little bit and found no other reason for him not to go and visit one of his favorite places…during the spring, at least. He had made sure that everything was running smoothly before he departed for his short trip, knowing that Skana was getting quite aggravated with his pestering. None the less, he didn’t stop his pursuits and finally found the time to visit Fireweed Rise.

His golden amber eyes surveyed the familiar area covered in thick areas of snow, his gaze resting on the figure of another curled up near a dead tree. Concern floated through him as he approached this other figure. She was white, but the scars on her face were easily noticeable to his observant eyes. He did not stare though, just simply waited for the woman to move…or something. He let a loud grunt erupt from his muzzle trying to get her attention. He knew that the girl was still breathing but it didn’t mean she could not still freeze to death. He didn’t want that to happen to her, even if he didn’t know the woman, but being the gentleman he was, he always made sure that others were comfortable. Waiting patiently at a far enough distance, Guiness waited for any indication that she had heard him.

The gentle winter wind gusting over the land, making her body became molded within the snow drift that began to form around the tree. She became almost undetectable, only her face was easily seen. As she was about drift off into a light sleep, a noise off in the distance interrupted. Fiery eyes starkly stood out from the pristine white snow around them as they searched the distance for the noise. Unsure of what the noise was, she was about to forget her search and go back to her peaceful sleep, but she caught a glimpse of russet out of the corner of her burning eye. Slowly turning her marred face towards the being to get a better view of the subject. The wind was against her, so this stranger was even more unknown to her. With that in mind, she rose to her feet, shaking the deposited snow off her body.

Her fiery eyes studied this stranger's body, noting the black intertwining with the russet and cream. The body language was that of a protector, but one that meant no harm. Knowing that this stranger could have easily snuck up on her and taken her by surprise and didn't, they didn't mean any harm to her at this moment. With the wind that would easily mask any talking that the two of them could have done at that distance, she delicately started to make her way towards the foreigner. Her body told of no aggression or harm towards the stranger, just relaxation.

The male looked at the woman closely, gauging her reaction closely to make sure that she would not suddenly lash out at him. She seemed to notice that he wasn't going to do anything though and started to approach him slowly. Standing where he was, as to not alarm her, he waited for her to get closer, wandering what it was she was doing. He assumed that she was getting closer so that they would be able to hold a regular conversation. She stood in front of him now and Guiness let his golden amber eyes rake over her smaller, white body. Now that she was closer to him, Guiness could easily see the scars that marked the other woman's face and body, just as they did his own. The tank was much larger than the woman in front of him, but he said nothing and simply stared at her, his gaze unblinking back at her.

He was use to looking at scars most of the time, so the sight before him was no shock to him... It was more because of the fact that that she was out here alone in the bitter cold. Clearing his throat kindly, he spoke in low monotones, "Ma'am, with all due respect, why are you out here by yourself in this atrocious weather?" He spoke calmly and evenly, hoping that the smaller woman would be able to hear his words because he spoke so softly and the wind was whipping by them all so quickly. He tried to lean slightly closer to the woman, hoping that he would be able to catch her response.
