Danica
Titanica

Danica looked over to her dad and licked his muzzle quickly before nodding to her mum. She smiled and crouched down low before shouting, "I call Iopah as my guide and teammate!" Then rushing off like a mad women to follow the huntress on her short cut pathway. With all the rush and commotion Danica quickly found herself stumbling along, racing towards the Glade. Her tongue lolled out of her mouth lazily as her paws carried her through the snow. She did her best to keep up with the older women, Iopah, her scrambled mind unconcerned with her wounded leg.

As they neared the location though Danica stopped dead in her tracks. She looked to Nina, Koda, and Iopah. Her eyes were wide with recognition as she stood there huffing. She stood so that all her legs were outstretched in an awkward stance. "Titan." She finally spoke as if to clear the confusion within everyone's mind. Wildly within her own she fought the chaos, "Where is he? I left looking for him...How did I get here? Why am I at the Woodlands?"She asked calmly though fear laced every word she spoke. "Titan..." She mumbled softly. Panic filled her but she remained rooted to her spot and remained silent.

Dani's moment of sanity soon vanished as she yelled,"Onward to the Glade to defeat the monsters!" Puppy like glee once again vibrant in her. She marched along seriously with a stupid grin on her face. Then she dashed off ahead of the others remembering this was a race, not war! She would beat them all, "Eat my snow flakes!" Determination flickered in her emerald orbs like a fire igniting on dry wood. Her cream fur whooshed back as she ungracefully maneuvered about. Her gait was awkward; she was fast and yet limping at the same time. Nothing could stop her now!"Speech."

"The snow is falling like I am for you." Into the Silent Night

Thought I'd post so we can get this finished. hope it's ok @Koda (@Danica @Nina @Iopah )

Her leader and teacher's one, bright eye caught hers and kept her in place as Nina moved over, hurriedly whispering in her ear. The younger healer nodded once in understanding and spun, trotting off quickly to the nearest herbal cache. As she made her way swiftly through the thicket, she quickly went through her mental archive, looking for the ideal herbs that she had at paw. Sleep was a hard one, since too strong a dose could stop the heart or obstruct breathing, the combination and amounts would have to be perfect.

From one of the smaller stores, a gathering of dried flowers and roots under a protective cover of stones, Aideen swiftly gathered up the needed medicines and hurried back towards the glade. She arrived at the same time as the others - what slowed them? - soon enough to hear the sick girl's excited gibber, and her copper eyes turned to rest on the cream colored youth, muzzles tensed in her attention. Danica seemed in high spirits, playing along with the game the adults had laid out, but that could soon change. Forcing herself to relax, so as to not upset the impressionable girl, Aideen shifted her gaze to Nina, once again locking eyes with her teacher and queen. With slow movements, she moved over to show the woman her choice of herbs: Yarrow and Lavender Hyssop; the combination should help lull the sick lass into a calm sleep without upsetting her. Aideen looked for confirmation of her choice, and also offered the plants to Nina, thinking that the mother might wont to administer them herself, it might be easier too, coming from some one Danica knew.

His eyes studied her, watching for any signs of infection and when none were noted, simply stared in complete awe at what was happening to his daughter. He had spoke with her a month or so back and in that time she had been so happy and full of life, her words were coherent and she seemed to be functioning well in the pack and yet the young wolf before him had changed so dramatically it frightened him. The words around him seemed muffled as he heard Aideen, Iopah and Nina attempt to calm his daughter down with a cooing that seemed fitting for a pup, a pup that had the physique of an adult and the appearance similar to his own--she was every bit of his little girl, his lost little girl.

He swallowed thick saliva at the base of his throat slowly and despite his desire to run to her and comfort what illness was plaguing her, he could get his feet to move or his mouth to move any more than what it had. It pained him to see Danica like this, so helpless and lost, and he was grateful that she had made it back to the Woodlands with the help of Iopah safely so that she could get the care she needed. A deep sigh escaped his lips and his ears pressed tightly on his skull as he watched her without any further words and when Aideen spoke, his attention was tuned to her until Nina spoke next, giving more direct instructions that were desperately needed. He felt so helpless, having no idea how to help his innocent daughter but knowing that in Nina's hands she would be safe, she had been a healer once and her motherly instincts would allow her to keep her daughter safe. He looked next to Iopah, a look of pity on his face, before approaching Danica and nuzzling her carefully, she would be fine, he knew of it, she simply needed some time.

He lingered at his spot as all ladies seemed set to go to the Glade where his daughter would receive her help and he could not bare to follow them, instead he would tend to the pack while Nina took care of their daughter in her need for help. Without another word, for fear of saying the wrong words, he turned on his heels and left the area to clear his head---could she be saved---played over and over in his head.

For the most part Danica stayed on the huntress' heels. Together they wove through the thicket and kicked up snow as they raced toward the glade. Iopah kept her ears trained behind her. Despite how much she pretended at and tried to convince Danica of, this wasn't a game. Something was obviously wrong with the girl, so glaringly obvious that now everyone could see it. Iopah was no healer; the leaves and roots that Aideen collected looked like just leaves and roots to her. The two healers had an ability she could only marvel at. But, this? Iopah dared to glance over a shoulder at the girl happily trotting along. Only moments ago her green eyes had been wide with panic, now she was grinning widely. Where would the healers even start?

A fine dusting of snow coated the clearing. There were no wildflowers this time of year, but the pale woman carefully slowed all the same. As she turned around Iopah could see them, brittle and brown underfoot. She knew the flowers would come back, regardless of whether (or not) she was here to see them. Aideen arrived then and Iopah watched with feigned nonchalance, letting her tail swoop carelessly behind her. She was here to keep Danica contained and purposely lazed about. If anything happened to startle Danica, they would need someone familiar to catch and convince her back. That someone was her. From part-way lidded eyes she watched the two healers, gaze sweeping over a collection of plants with ignorance. Clearly they knew what they were doing, but it was all latin to the hunter. She could hear the minute differences in a wounded deer's gait and could set them running with just a glance. This was beyond her interest or ability.

Iopah let her haunches lower to the cold ground to wait. The low voices behind her were soft and calm; they soothed as she watched the thicket prepare for the coming day. Minutes slipped by and her pale form slipped lower and lower. Iopah had been awake the entire night, leading Danica back when the hunter otherwise would have been asleep. Almost an hour later, nearly asleep herself, she finally turned around. Nina and Aideen were still there with their charge, now dozing peacefully. Iopah climbed wearily to her feet and offered a brief nudge to each women before heading for her den. Their worried voices followed her and formed the chorus that lulled her to sleep moments later.

Iopah had found Danica, but only time would tell if all of the princess had returned with her.
