Following the dispatch of the rabid Aniwayan threat there was still something amiss in Cedarwood Forest, seat of Grizzly Hollow. The departure of the Lyall family only further stressed that the comfort which had spoiled the pack had been tarnished indefinitely. Kade Attaya, a faithful Guardian to the pack from the start, inherited the changed territory while his mate, Ava Attaya rose to lead beside him. Their reign over the Cedars was short. Plagued by the memories of what had once been a safe and prosperous home, Kade called together the remainder of Grizzly Hollow - Sibyl Balik, Destin McBain and Maksim Baranski - and proposed a change in scenery to purge them of the ill that remained before the birth of his children.

At the break of dawn Kade and Ava led the small band of wolves over Serpent's Pass and in to the east side of the Lore. On a misty morning the discovery of a calm rise overlooking the wild rapids from Secret Falls would bring an end to the journey. Here their weary hearts would pump with fresh blood as they claimed the territory in the name of Darkwater Rapids. That night, Ava brought in to the world the next generation of Attayas and heirs to Darkwater Rapids: Mace, Rowan, Quil and Cinder. Within a month they would also welcome the youths Lily Aquila and Isadora Montyago in to their humble family.

Though recently established, the strength of the Darkwater Rapids wolves is a fearsome loyalty, built of trust, genuine heart, and the ability to endure. Together they stand tall, no matter what the adversary.
