Paradise Falls' first year has seen the pack navigate numerous challenges. The wolves here have experienced their share of both blessings and tragedies. Many have experienced growth, overcoming past fears and obstacles to find contentment. There have been numerous departures of founding members, but new arrivals to supplant them, and thus far the group seems to be carrying on steadily.

The beginning of this last year also marked the official founding of Paradise Falls, on February 5th, 2023. Their ranks started off strong, with ten wolves present to serve as founding members. Jethro and Flair as leaders, Siyet as a founding Second, Colette, Finley, Reika, and Luca as subordinates. Finley's sons Caspian and Ryder were present as well, along with a guest from the Valle family in Nix.

Things would very quickly go awry for the group as winter morphed into spring, however. What'd once seemed an all but certain relationship in Jethro and Siyet faded quickly as the new leader discovered a previously unrealized passion for Finley. This sudden change understandably led to Siyet's departure, and unfortunately, she hasn't been seen since.

Luca would also quickly find himself ousted from the pack by both leaders, after giving in to temptation and having a one-night stand with a lone female.

While these departures were not insignificant, the pack would quickly see new faces to replace them, for Chan opted to take up residence at the Falls, reuniting with his old friend Flair - along with two of his previously unknown children in Auburn and Marigold.

The first death of the pack would strike quickly though, with Auburn meeting his tragic demise before he and his sister could pay a visit to Sanguine Cove. Though left reeling in the wake of this, Chan, Flair, and Marigold would stay strong for their expanding family.

Similarly, Jethro and Finley's relationship seemed to drive a wedge between Finley and her sons, as well as taint what had seemingly been a solid bond between Jethro and the siblings. This would culminate with Caspian disappearing, and despite many efforts made by the pack throughout the year, no sign of him has since been located.

The rest of the pack would find a blessing and a rallying point in the arrival of three new children, though. Atara, birthed to Finley and Jethro - Addison and Micaden, birthed to Flair and Chan, are the pack's first-generation offspring.

Despite summer bringing warmth, new life, and prey back to the lands, not everything would go smoothly. Throughout most of the warmer months, the constant presence of smoke and ash filling the air would inhibit the pack in more ways than one. The worry of raging fires consuming the lands was a constant one, though a scouting mission undertaken by Jethro and Ryder would indicate the pack was not ever directly at risk from fire.

The latter half of the year would see two new arrivals to one departure. The devoted Miriam Faith and the mysterious Isla Valle chose, for their separate reasons, to call Paradise their home.

In between these arrivals, Ryder would choose to depart after saying his final goodbyes to Finley, venturing out into the wilderness alone in search of his sibling.

The arrival of winter would finally put an end to the constant presence of soot and ash in the air, bringing prey back to the forests of Kingsfall and helping put the residents of Paradise Falls at ease. The question that remains now though, is just what effects will prolonged exposure have on the different wolves - and what surprises will the next year bring?
