Any WFN wolves welcome! He's pretty real close to the borders.
After days of travelling through those dark, tangled woods, Aegir had quickly decided that they were indeed just as ghastly as their name implied. They were awful! Dreadful and spooky like something out of a bad dream. Even when he stuck close to his parents or even Kyri's side he didn't feel much better. He adored his Da's stories of monsters and myths, but if they really did exist then the Ghastly Woods was were they would reside.
It seemed that there was a light at the end of the tunnel, as the thick, knotted woods transitioned into an open space with a big pool for Aegir to splash around in. He'd ran off once again, eager to explore and enjoy the sunlight but he knew his family weren't too far off. If a monster did happen on by, all he would have to do is call and they would come running.
But if it were a wolf, well the Little Dragon was confident he could handle them on his own. All he had to do was peer up at them with his big doe eyes as his lips trembled, as though he was about to burst into tears and they would be putty in his hands. It was a technique that worked well for him, and as the saying went, if it wasn't broken, don't fix it.
As to why they had headed this far north-and through those awful woods- well, honestly Aegir wasn't entirely sure. Da had said he'd wanted to talk to someone, but was it so important that they had to come all this way? Being the nosy sod he was, Aegir asked and pestered his Da to know more but even then he wasn't really satisfied. What was so good about this @Gent ? And why did his Da want to speak to him so much?
A spark of jealously lingered in his heart. Aegir had to know, he had to find out for himself. He knew that he supposedly lived around here somewhere, that he led a pack his Da refered to as 'The Notch.'It was simply a matter of finding him and proving that this Gent was not everything his father made him out to be.
Despite the recent rains, Aegir could still smell the border, it acted as a beacon, luring him in close till the smell was practically right up his nose. He'd found it, this was the Notch he'd been locking for.
