Lachesis "XIX" Stark
leader dem 3/3 - lead pack meeting

His wife made a valid point—there were other forms of predators that the pack would need to fend off. Other felines, bears and even other wolves could pose a threat to the river pack. He understood that there were wolves that were opposed to sparring, and fighting, and Lachesis would respect their decisions not to participate. But it was important for the majority of their subordinates to know how to fight—just in case. His gaze glanced over to the hushed conversation between the scarlet male, Reid, and Oksana. His lips tightened with concern but he kept his tongue still. Lilya was quick to wrap up the meeting and dismiss their subordinates, much to Lachesis’ relief. Short and to the point, just the way Lachesis liked meetings to be. If you have concerns about anything else, including the sparring, do not hesitate to reach out either, he added as he watched Anastasia take her leave. He made a mental note to seek her out later, after the dust had settled, as he was curious as to what she thought of the meeting. It appeared Lilliana was excited about the sparring lessons, as she was already squaring up the beefy guardian.

He waited for the others to leave, watching each of them disappear into the surrounding forests. He wouldn’t mind a few moments alone with his mate to discuss things once the crowd had dispersed…

Mako Coho
It was obvious Mako was missing something big here. There was a conversation happening parallel to the one being had. He was surprised when Rissy spoke up, quickly glancing towards her out the corner of his eye, her voice steady but there was something abou it. It was so strange dropping himself into a pack -- a family -- like this, when he didn't know what the shared history was at all. Something had happened, and though he could piece together parts of it from these snippets of conversation, it didn't really make much more sense and he felt like an outsider looking in.

His head was thrumming as the meeting concluded, the weird sort of tension dissolving and leaving Mako grasping for what exactly he was supposed to do now. He stood awkwardly, companionably nudging Ris on the shoulder before he ambled off into the woods to collect his thoughts.

Lavender Stark

The girl was over-joyed that the meeting had finally come to a close. Things were awfully tense and she wanted to disappear into the forest around them in the search of solitude. Or, she’d harass her sister—Lavender had not decided which was the better option of the two. She glanced over at her twin, who was busy pestering Aytigin, and made up her mind. She’d seek out a quiet spot in the forest first and then find her sister. Once she recuperated and digested what had been said in the meeting. Most of it she hadn’t really cared about. Just a bunch of adult mumbo-jumbo. She knew, eventually, she’d have to pursue a role and become of use to the pack (gross!) but she had plenty of time to think about that. She only had a few more months left of being a kid and getting away with being foolish. Once her parents had dismissed the group Lavender was quick to flee the scene, heading for the western edge of the territory… Lavender exit.

Mathéo Tainn

Mathéo folded his ears back against his skull, quickly coming to regret speaking up at all. If you were not in utter agreement with them, you were against them, clearly. It was fine for other ones not to want to fight, but he spoke – the downfall, clearly. The young male ground his molars together, but said nothing; instead, he tipped his chin, cast green eyes down, conceded Lilya’s point.

And as soon as they were dismissed, he departed.

Even his sister had turned on him, as quick as the cat. Was it truly necessary to describe in graphic detail their mother’s death? Or call him out in front of the whole pack? His cheeks burned. His tail clung to his hocks. He wanted to disappear.

Mathéo exit.

With nothing more to add, Jynx reclined patiently, watching and absorbing the reactions of each pack member. Not everyone was bound to be on the same page and she understood that. She had said her piece.

Lachesis and Lilya swiftly concluded this important meeting, encouraging anyone with further questions to seek either of them out. She made a mental note of this, in particular to discuss the possibility of a role later in the Spring. A partner to jostle with would serve her well. But who? She would give it some thought. Yellow eyes lingering on the faces of her new leaders, she glanced just once to Emrys before turning to vanish amongst the trees in the distance.

Emrys Myrddin

The meeting had given them all a lot to think about in the former leaders mind. Only time would tell what would happen as far as the rule and roles. Emrys was already certain of the tile that he wanted it was just up to the alphas if they wanted him to pursue it. For now though he would let it rest until he was fully ready to take the role back on.

When the dismissal came he was ready for the meeting to be over. It had gotten a little intense there for a few minutes. He looked to his mate but when she only glanced at him before leaving without a word he chose not to follow her. Things seemed strained between them and he didn't know if they could be fixed. The pale healer rose to his own paws before exiting the clearing in the opposite direction.

Emrys Exit
