Aurora Heights the use in holding on

Open to any AH wolf, but Sven's hoping for @Greer in particular. Backated to 1/27th, Sven left for AH shortly after this thread. Sorry to backdate it so much, but we only just got informed of what was happening and Vami & I both agree there's no way WR would keep the info from AH. Shoot me a DM or PM if you need to. <3 Worst case scenario, AH ignores him because they don't like him?

After having discussed what had happened between himself and Adeltra with @Ravenna, the lead pair had agreed that Greer and his pack needed to be immediately informed. The young girl had mentioned that Morganna might send a scout, but neither of the Ridge's alphas were content to sit on the information and hope that someone else delivered it in a timely fashion. Despite their differences, and their last turbulent encounter, Sven would not leave Greer fearful over the safety of his daughter for a moment longer than necessary.

And so he had set out soon after, making the trek up the mountain's side to find his uncle's pack. He was able to make it by dawn, despite the thick snow. Part of him felt on edge being here, at the door of so many wolves who clearly disliked and distrusted him, but refused to feel fear. Certainly Greer wouldn't go as far as to allow them to harm Sven, right?

Tilting back his head, he sent up a howl, alerting the pack that he had important information to share.

The search for the missing child continued day after day and still they hadn't found her. The warrior hoped that they would find the child only so things could get back to normal around the heights. With the added change that Revin would have learned something from her ordeal. Pyriel went about his normal morning duties before getting ready to head out to look for any clues as to what had happened to the archer pup.

He was Interrupted however by a call echining through the territory coming from the borders. Immediately he stopped what he was doing and made his way to find out who was visiting them. Once at the border he discovered Sven, he hadn't yet formerly met the man but by now he knew him by name. Especially after he was the one accused of taking Revom the first place.

The warrior doubted very much that Greer or Kyna for that matter would be very happy to see him. Pyriel had no quarrel with the man so he approached as always. Tail over his back and head head to announce his position. “What can I do for you?" He asked cordially.

Ah.

It was him. Kyna hesitated only for a moment, the briefest of doubts flickering through her mind. It was clear Sven had no interest in being cordial with her, and so briefly she did consider leaving the man for his brother to deal with. But the Heights alpha was no shrinking violet. She would not be cowed.

So she moved, and found Pyriel had beaten her to her borders. Greer was not afoot, but he had been out searching for Revon again earlier. They took turns, shifts, so that someone was always home in the event their daughter returned of her own accord. Her tail waved high above her haunches, but the white wolf was not greeted with open hostility. He was at the border, not over. He had called. Clearly, he had some manners, even if he'd waited this long to show them.

Pyriel was greeted with a silent nod, and she moved beside the beta. He was given a small nose bump, a tiny token of appreciation, and then her attention turned to the Willow wolf.  "Sven. I imagine this is not a social visit."

Part of him expected not to be answered. It wouldn't surprise him if the pack chose to write off all contact with the Ridge entirely, and leave him hanging less he dared to prove himself a threat to their security. Instead, he was answered by one of the few members who hadn't yet turned their nose up at him.

"I just have information for your leaders, they should know immediately," he informed the man, but before he could go forward the queen herself arrived on the scene. While not be any means amiable, she was far less sour than he would have expected her. He supposed she had the sense to know that he would not be here if it wasn't in the name of something equally interesting to her.

"Revon is safe," he cut to the chase, hoping Greer was home to receive the news next and not out in the field now wasting his energy searching in all the wrong places.

"Adeltra and Morganna found her with a stranger, and took both to Morganna's new settlement. She's resting, and Addy is staying with them to make sure Revon makes her way safely back here. Ravenna and I wanted you to know as soon as possible."

It was only then that he spared a smirk and the time to add back, "I might dislike you but a 'social visit' would be too cruel a retaliation."

After what happened at the Willow ridge borders and the accusations being thrown about he couldn't believe the white man was at the heights borders by himself. Pyriel suspected he felt he could take on the whole pack himself of it came to that. He truly hoped it didn't or he'd have to jump in and he didn't particularly want to. He didn't really have anything against the wolf in front of him in the first place.

Information for his leaders it seed was the reason that Sven had come. “Unfortunately Greer isn't here currently as he's out looking for his daughter. I'm sure Kyna will be along shortly, she will want to talk with you,” he said with an amused expression with a hit of a smirk.

Speaking of the devil herself, Kyna showed up only a moment later with a nose bump for her second which he returned with a dip of his head. Then the warrior took his place at the heights queen's flank to support her and listen to the conversation.

A wise wolf, Pyriel. She wasn't always the biggest fan of his methods, but the beta got the job done, and Kyna could find no fault than that. He'd been loyal when many others hadn't, and frankly, that couldn't far more than his occasionally grumpy demeanor.

But all those thoughts, and whatever else she had been thinking, died the moment Sven opened his mouth. Her heart stopped. She felt like she could cry with joy, or maybe yell - instead, she stood, frozen, wondering if this was the moment she woke up to found herself alone in the den, without her only daughter…but no. Time passed. Her eyes stayed open. The Willow alpha elaborated on what he'd found.

At the moment, she didn't even wonder why someone from Morganna's crew hadn't told them yet; wondering would come later. Her body sagged with relief. "Where? Who? Is she okay?" And then she realized he probably did not have these answers. He was a messenger. (But how did he already know?) Perhaps it was this confused state that startled a laugh out of her, as harsh as it was mirthful. Entirely Aponi, as it were.

"Yes, well. Let the punishment fit the crime, and all that." Her fiery eyes twinkled. "I like you better when your tongue is sharp, Sven."

A well-aimed barb was always better than aimless accusations hurled. (Even if, if, she may have been guilty of the same.)
