Oak Tree Bend

When Corinna and Ice led their pack to eastern Relic Lore to found Oak Tree Bend, they did so with the hope that their relocation would inspire the pack and allow them to thrive. In May 2013, Corinna and Ice had two sons, Serach and Sceral, and hoped that the presence of new puppies would restore the pack's happiness. However, soon after the cubs' birth, the pack received word that their longtime and loyal Second, Marsh, had been killed. This latest blow hit Ice the hardest, and despite the birth of his sons, he became withdrawn and depressed.

Marsh's death hung over the pack for the entirety of the summer, but his was not the only loss the pack would experience. Cali Swiftpaw, the pack's female second, disappeared. Worried over her safety, Ice and Merlin left the pack in order to bring her back. As the days turned to weeks, and weeks to months, it became apparent to everybody that neither Ice nor Merlin were returning. With Corinna's blessing, Triell Tainn stepped up to lead alongside her, hoping to restore stability to the pack's hierarchy. Soon after becoming the pack's leader, Triell reaccepted Hotei Tainn, his brother and Jessie's mate, into the pack. In the fall, Ruiko and Aeylen Tainn returned to Relic Lore. After learning that their family no longer resided in Swift River, they traveled east, where they were reunited with their family and accepted into the pack.

As winter began its approach, prey became increasingly scarce. Kisla Tainn left on a scouting mission, determined to find a food source for her family. During her journey, she was injured and unable to return to Oak Tree Bend. In order to survive, she joined the newly formed Cut Rock River pack. Eventually, Kisla not only recovers from her injuries, but also becomes the pack's lead female and the mate of its leader, Maksim Baranski.

Late in the year, Triell accepted two new wolves into the pack. Drestig Avalon, a prior member of the disbanded Pitch Pine Trail pack, runs across Oak Tree Bend on accident. Nayeli Stormwright met Triell during a hunt, and despite her desire to seek out her missing family members, decided to stay and join the pack at least until the winter is over. That winter was particularly brutal, with deep snows and freezing temperatures. Early into the new year, a particularly fierce blizzard resulted in the death of the pack's longtime leader and matriarch, Corinna. Despite their loss, the pack rallied under Triell's leadership, determined to survive the winter.

An aggressive and rare hunt brought the Oak Tree Bend pack into contact with their neighbors, the wolves of Magnolia Glen. Despite the kinship bond between leaders Triell and Borlla, the two packs fought over the kill. The Oak Tree Bend wolves successfully drove off their competition, but in dong so, created a hostile relationship between the two packs. Soon after, Fenru and Arlette decided to leave the pack to find out what happened to Ice and Kisla. Triell gives them his blessing and they promise to return. Unfortunately, their departure from the pack was ill-timed. A few weeks after Fenru and Arlette departed, a pregnant Kisla returned to Oak Tree Bend with her mate Maksim. She learned of her mother's death and the other hardships the pack has experienced, but returned to her new home in Cut Rock River. Soon after, Aeylen Tainn goes missing, leaving her brokenhearted mate behind.

However, with the arrival of spring, the pack has begun to recover from its harsh winter. Nayeli admits to Triell that she has decided to stay in Oak Tree Bend. The two became mates, and Nayeli stepped up to serve as the pack's lead female. On May 21st, 2014, Nayeli gave birth to two cubs, a son and a daughter. A few weeks later, Darrah and Zera Tainn are introduced to the rest of the pack.
