Secret Woodlands

Secret Woodlands had a rough start to their year. Nina’s mate, Koda, had left the pack, stating that his reasons were to regain his memory. It was hard for the pack to accept their new leader, Hollow, who was young and inexperienced when it came to taking care of the pack. None the less, the Woodlands wolves took the change in stride and continued to do the best that they could. Mirren Tainn, an old friend of Nina’s had returned to her lands, and was welcomed into the family quite quickly. Unfortunately, disaster soon struck when Nina’s eldest pup, Tacoma, fell and passed away. The pack was heartbroken and crushed and some took longer than others to recover from the tragic death of the prince. Many months after he left, and not long after Tacoma’s death, Koda returns and is hesitantly reaccepted into the pack. Hollow makes it clear to the other man that if he wants to regain his leadership, he was going to have to work long and hard for it. Not long after that, it becomes apparent that Ashanti, a founder of Secret Woodlands, had been mentally ill, and she ended up fleeing from the pack leaving her mate, Miccah, and son, Bane behind. Hollow and Nina had decided to breed, but soon after Nina became pregnant, Hollow disappeared in a blizzard, leaving her soon to be born pups fatherless. Miccah then had to step up to the plate to become the next lead, which was a problem, because Nina and Miccah had never gotten along and the woman did not trust the man. The two have struggled being partners, but not many disputes have come between them due to the next line of royalty being born. Unitas, Silentium, and Pacem were born; alive and healthy.
