Year in Review
In Character

Another year has come and gone in Relic Lore, and in turn, far too much has happened in character plots to truly give justice to the creativity of our players.

Hollowheart Keep disbanded after Mapplethorpe was secretly murdered by Skoll Archer of Willow Ridge. While this might have been good news for Cut Rock River, their previous rivals, the River wolves were met with the promise of war between themselves and Whisper Caverns -- who in turn held Willow Ridge, Secret Woodlands and the newly risen Grizzly Hollow at their sides. Moving their pack further north in turn with Black Thorn Downs, both packs took claim in lesser known areas, becoming Hearthstone River and Round Stone Crest.

Round Stone Crest, before even staking claim to their new home, lost their lead male. Tokino was murdered by Ash Hervock, of Whisper Caverns. There seems to only be one witness -- and it doesn't look like he wants to bring any information forward.

Magnolia Glen also moved -- taking claim at the foothills of the Mountain of Dire, Phineas took claim of a land called Silent Moon Plateau for the chance at a fresh start for his family after his mate abandoned them. The mountain had remained dormant for almost a year, it seemed, but shortly after the claim of the Plateau, another pack, led by Athena Moon and Vespertio Vuesain created a pack called Fallen Tree Cove, located in Lost Lake.

Broken Timber Pines was also created this year -- lead by Koda and Iopah Reiner, who dispersed from Secret Woodlands after being refused the right to breed. Labeled as traitors, the pack seems to accumulate more enemies than friends -- but no one can deny they are survivors.

Grizzly Hollow, once disbanded, has once more risen under Lyall leadership. Rook Lyall, son to Borden and Jaysyek, has orchestrated his parents to leading the pack once more, though the deceit to bring them together once more has caused the pack to live under aliases when outside of pack lands.

Oak Tree Bend has continued to live in relative isolation from the rest of Relic Lore, but has not been without their turmoils and trials. The pack went through a leadership transition: Spieden Coho took over female leadership of the pack after Nayeli disappeared. Throughout the spring, the pack was tormented by a group of lone wolves, but the Bend wolves fought back and were able to defend against their attackers.

While each pack continues to grow and thrive, the forge of alliances and claim of vengeance is brewing the perfect storm for war over Relic Lore -- what will the next year bring?
