After the birth of its next litter, Magnolia Glen had grown quiet. The pack, with new purpose of feeding its newest cubs (Evy, Takis and Celandine), continued forward with purpose, and the leading pair, Phineas and Borlla, attempted to smooth over the rift that had grown between them.
In the summer, when the cubs were weaned and slightly more independent, Borlla disappeared, shattering the family to a point of no true return. Suddenly, the stretch of landscape before them was no longer beautiful, but barren. With his mate having abandoned her children, Phineas began to consider the pack’s options of moving forward – and it was with a swift decision that they would leave behind the Glen and find a new land to settle in – making room for a new legacy.
Phineas entrusted Ace, a wolf newer to their fold, and Hypatia, his eldest daughter to look after the children. His travels were quick – he sought to move his family further from Oak Tree Bend, given the tension between the two packs and found the perfect haven along the foothills of the mountain.
They called it Silent Moon Plateau – and when they sang their claim across the region, it would seemingly attract new members to their fold – and most intriguing was how many females had suddenly fallen in to the newly relocated pack’s ranks.
As life began to settle, the regal Argyris found himself captivated by a she-wolf by the name of Seraphina. Burned by his past and only looking to secure his children’s future, the ivory wolf pushed past these feelings, and when the females of the pack seemed unsettled in the hierarchy, he beckoned forward a challenge. Which she-wolf in their ranks would reign as his co-lead?
The challengers were broken in to groups, and after three rounds, a silver she-wolf, newer to the pack, claimed the title as hers. Aesire Destine held promise.. and not surprisingly enough, Seraphina disappeared from the pack shortly after.
It was not until spring that the pack began to show discord and miscommunication. While Evy, Takis and Celandine were becoming young adults, and Phineas envisioned that the next year would prove to have one of his children at the pack’s helm, life would not pause for his own personal gain. Aesire had fallen in love with Ace – a wolf who had served as Phineas’ Second for a year.. and without telling the ivory King, the two bred. Perhaps even worse, Phineas found himself in the embrace of a young she-wolf, Aponi, who had returned to the pack after needing to take leave for a short time.
Silent Moon Plateau had become the home to two illegitimate litters: Aesire gave birth to two cubs, Wren and Maeve, while Aponi gave birth to but one – Kyna. Now, the games have truly begun amongst the royals of the Plateau – Aponi, vying for the crown because of her lover, Aesire, who holds the crown and claims she will pass it to the true blood of an Argyris, Phineas, who no longer trusts his Second or co-leader, and is recruiting members against them and finally, Celandine, who’s entitled attitude has pushed herself past her other siblings to begin and stake her claim.
Let the games begin.

Aesire had no choice. She might have seen herself as a subordinate with a fancy title for a while now, knowing that this was Phineas' pack with his children as heirs. But now, anyone, anyone who disrespected her or her children would be put in their place. Mama Aes was done with this shit.

Apparently his family name had struck a chord of recognition in the she-wolf, and while he was boastful to be a Tainn and held pride at the name, he felt his lips twitch with a dark smirk to her first statement. "Yes, we're everywhere - like a bad weed," he murmured with a sardonic shrug of his broad shoulders.

His eyes were cold, despite the warmth of their hue, and as his gaze shifted over the yearling, he gave his muzzle a sardonic shake. "Do the Plateau wolves come down and prance around your borders often? Because Oak Tree Bend has a hard time keeping away from ours," he rumbled darkly, his tail giving an idle lash.

He eyed the few wolves that had already appeared - his bright orange eyes shifted quickly to see if he caught sight of Borlla, but disappointment no longer swelled in his chest. Instead, he was met with silent resolve as he moved forward, sidling up to Hypatia's side and rubbing the crown of his head to her shoulder by way of gentle greeting.
