The Highlands are a stark contrast to its Moor neighbor of the north. While wind still breezes through the area it is softer, and while it may be a trick of the imagination this place feels warmer. During the spring the plains are teeming with countless wildflowers which paint the world in pale hues as far as the eye can see. It is easy to lose track of time here basking in the sun and inhaling the sweet smell of the flora. But it isn’t only the flowers that cast such striking colors across the highlands: the auroras are common here, and even regular sunsets act like a giant rose colored spotlight.
