Running alongside the northernmost west side of Serpent's Pass, Ghastly Woods is much like a snake itself, with wispy branches that drag through a wolf's fur like fingers, and grasping undergrowth that hides away a wolf's paws. For this reason Ghastly woods is thought of as a blemish in the northern Eden, ruining its otherwise welcoming habitats. Thick tree canopies cast the forest in dark shadows, and even the birds know to keep quite here in fear of what will come to find them. If a wolf travels east in the forest long enough, they will find themselves beginning to ascend the Pass only to find that they leave the trees behind, unable to take root amongst the hard rock.
