Because we have such an active, chatty community we use Discord. It comes with many features, such as private messaging, emojis, and multiple channels (public and private) for different topics. On the homepage of the site you can see a basic, bare-bones version of the chat-feed, but to get the full version with all the features you will have to register an account.

Above the chat you will see a link that will take you to a registration page. Enter the email address you would like to use to log in with. It will ask you for a "Token" which can also be found on the index page. Once you submit this forum you will receive an email with further instruction for how to register for slack.
