....a role play sample (200+ words): Nadine missed such pleasant conversations with her friend, though they had both certainly proven more busy than either likely intended. Nadine had still done her part, albeit silently, to ensure her friend and children were well cared for. She’d still leave gifts at the edge of the den in forms of food and bones for the children to play with. She still was not certain she had any right or desire to be further in their lives. At least not until they were older, and capable of more mature topics such as hunting or fighting.
As her friend encouraged her to guess, a hint of a smirk slid easily on her features, considering it for a moment. With all the changes that have overcome, she had only three guesses. “Perhaps your boys have begun to show a hunting prowess early and have tracked a herd of deer?” She proposed the least likely first. “Or perhaps this has more to do with you… with a role you might be more prone to step into with the recent changes in the pack?” Admittedly, it did not occur to Nadine that she had become a leader despite the implication… her mind lingered on the woman becoming an advisor, or perhaps a mate.
Though a stubborn part of her felt some ire at the idea of the last.
