Someday, maybe you'll see the light
He had been grateful that Viorel had allowed him across the borders, knowing it would be the last time that Seri did so. He moved quickly, second nature taking him through the lands he used to call home as he sought out the infirmary. His eyes softened, a hint of sadness in them when he caught sight of the infirmary. It couldn’t be easy, being cooped up like that, unable to do much more than lay there. Seri couldn’t imagine… but Eros was strong, and he would get through it, right?
The man poked his head in, a small ‘woof’ aimed at pulling his attention as not to startle him. “Eros?” He called on him gently as he moved to sit down, keeping a respectful space between them. It had been some time, and Seri had changed… Seri didn’t know the lengths of change that Eros had gone through…
“It’s me.” He didn’t mention Eretrea… Viorel had already told him that she was not there… this stop was selfish. This stop was for him, to speak with the first wolf he’d ever fallen in love with. His best friend who had seen him through so much. He could take the time for that… he had to.
