Yela walked through the trees. Never being here before the feeling was great. She felt like she could run forever or more. She wasn't wasting time looking around and took the chance here to look for food. Sniffing around trees and other spots she finally food a scent she could track. being a rather good runner and tracker she hoped what ever she found was big. Yela continued at a walk geting the feeling of the new area. "Powerful like father," she thought.
Yela stopped to groom a knotted piece of her fur. Pulling at it she thought, "I really need to clean my self up." Sitting down she attacked her fur unknottiing it and laying it flat. This lasted for about 30 minutes, and when she was done she was extremely sore. Getting back up she continued her hunt for food. Gathering her thoughts she stalked a rabbit, and thought about how to approach it. "Should I run at it, ambush it?" she asked herself continuing the list. Finally, making sure she was down wind, she started her approach. She had decided to run at it. Then there was bushes moving and the rabbit went sprinting away. Yela grumbled and got up, to sit, from her hunter's crouch, and looked around.
Yela glanced around hoping to see where the rabbit had fled. Standing up she padded away disappointed that she couldn't find it. Yela left the safety of the trees to walk a long a river bank. Crouching she took a drink from the river careful not to stray to far, she didn't know how deep it was. Staring across it she wondered what was over there. Yela shrugged and padded down the bank. She came around a slight bend and was not paying attention to where she was going.
Yela looked up to see two wolves standing not far from where she was. She panicked and looked for some where to hide. When she couldn't find one she took in a deep breath. What made it worse was that they where from a pack. Lowering her head and tail she waited for them to notice her. Looking at them she noticed one seemed very close to the river. She watched and listened to the male which she guessed that he had not noticed her approach. "They must be from the same pack," she quoted to herself, using info from what the male had said. She stood silently behind him waiting to see if he noticed or not.
