Larkcall Lowlands Jar of hearts

The Archer woman found herself out in the tall grasses of the lowlands once again. She'd been on the trail of a rabbit that she'd followed a good distance. Reika was determined to catch the creature but she'd yet actually set eyes on it. So really she didn't know if she was following a good trail or not despite I seeming so.

Her pace was slow not wanting to miss a single clue as she followed the trail. The silver girl would have brought her shadow however she thought it best that he stay behind and look after the pups so Finley could have a break. The grass rustled in the breeze around her as she looked up to see what was around her

Marigold unknowingly carried Reika's hare in her jaws, broken neck making it a bloodless kill. She was coming opposite, headed toward their home rather than outward, when she inhaled a scent which was familiar but not exactly a friend. She had only been with the pack a short time before going on that fated scouting trip with her brother. When she'd returned without him, Mar had been far from sociable. She was only now starting to return to herself (on the surface), meaning this would be the first she'd felt compelled to properly meet the other young adult amongst their ranks.

She couldn't call out thanks to the carcass in her mouth, but she used its flopping limbs sort of like a flag, lifting and lowering her muzzle in big, exaggerated nods to try and get Reika's attention nonverbally. When close enough for proper conversation Mar would drop the rabbit and greet the other woman with a bright smile and wagging of her tail.

"Hello! Are you out here to hunt too?"
