And I do believe it’s true

That there are roads left in both of our shoes

After meeting with that boy Karpos Slayer, Auva had made a trip back to the area where she had started in. For some reason she was drawn to here. Something about the place made her feel like it was a new home. Perhaps it was the lush foliage of ferns and other plants, along with the vast animals living in it's protection. Already she had crossed a doe along with two hares. Not to mention the numerous birds and bugs.

Since the trip had been longer than expected the Caravello female had no issue stopping to rest for a few moments near the ferns that grew wild. As her head set down on her paws she allowed her eyes to slowly close. Her mind thought of multiple different things. That @Ace fella Karpos mentioned, a pack, even food. But the most was rest. Maybe she would take a nap for a few minutes. For her paws were sore from the walking, running, or jogging she had been doing. Thirst and hunger were also fresh in her but she pushed those aside for the moment being to catch a few minutes of pure peace.

When the female had opened her eyes she realized that perhaps she had spent just a bit too much time resting. The sun was getting ready to set so that the moon would soon shine. Jumping to her feet she didn't even waste a minute to stretch. Instead the large female took off through the Red Fern Forest hoping to find a way out of it's grasp and into a place where she could see the lands again. Auva could not risk getting lost in these unknown woods.

@Auva

The Silver Male had just felt the need to go exploring, and the direction that he had travelled in took him to the Red Fern Forest. Ferns shrouded the forest floor like a bright sunburned carpet, and tiny critters darted here and there with a muffled squeak or a booming caw. It was almost peaceful, and Ace fell into a trance-like state as he padded through the trees, his large creamy paws brushing through the ferns and leaves covering the once green ground. This was one of the reasons why he loved to be a part of Magnolia Glen: the quiet.

He walked around for hours, not doing anything, just... looking. Rabbits hid from view as he strolled past and birds soared overhead into the blue yonder. Sometimes the Silver Male wished that he could fly, to feel the wind rushing into his face and that freedom of being able to go wherever he wanted. Though he had lived alone for a large part of his past, he had never felt free. There was always the worry of not getting enough food to eat or water to drink or staying away from dangerous creatures. It was like a constant stream of what if's.

It was then when he looked up at the setting sun that he saw a large white wolf run by, and he immediately thought of his sister. Had she finally found him? But then why was she running away? Breaking into a sprint Ace ran after the white wolf, pushing himself hard to catch up with her. "Wait!"
