She had never met someone more infuriating, and that was saying something considering how annoying her siblings had been. Even the older ones had been trying to convince her to believe in some sky wolves who were all knowing and powerful as if she were nothing more than a pup fresh out of the birthing den on their first excursion. As if! She grumbled lightly under her breath as he began to talk back to her, her face contorting for a moment with a vile response before she thought better of it. If only for a moment… a rare moment. “I am leaving.” She responded simply, not feeling as though she ought to give the boy the satisfaction of her name. If she did that, wouldn’t he be winning the argument? And she couldn’t have that! Not when she was so clearly right. Oh. Lucian's brow quirked, mildly surprised that she was abandoning their conversation.

"Aww," the disappointment expressed under his breath was just as light-hearted as the rest of his utterances had been. He would have rather the interaction gone on much longer, but he certainly couldn't oblige her to stay. With a roll of his shoulders he would go back to his sniffing at the ground and the brush, trying to catch the scent of more prey.

And hoping wholeheartedly that the tremors were not done.
