he stumbled into faith and thought
'god this is allthere is?'
He let the soft wind blow through his fur. The sun slowly turned and shifted it's way to the other side of the earth, to make way for the beautiful moon. And the coat of blackish blue, with the shining white stars to watch over all, just as soft clouds did in the day.

His eyelids fell without bother over his orange eyes. Today had been a good day, his hunt had been successful, so when he opened his eyes - he would be viewing the transformation with a full stomach. It was not uncommon for Stark to go hungry, for a day or two, as a loner, but everything was alright now.

This meadow was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen, and he'd have to make a mental note to visit it often. The flash of his bright eyes went to the sun again, almost the same color. The small male raised off the ground, and bounded forward, more into the flowers, sending some scattering.

Beautiful petals were drifted off in the wind, due to the sudden movement, and it was truly a sight to behold. After the display, Stark let his whole head rotate as he parted his jaws in a content yawn. Day has almost fully descended now, and the male let his whole body hit the ground, sending more petals on their way. The flowers looked just as beautiful put together, as they did apart. The wolf curled up into a ball.

Stark was never really known for it, but his fur was a very soft kind of pillow. Which is why, on most resting times, he rested his head on his own build as he was doing at the moment. But, when he was laying, it only made him appear more weak and smaller. Though, because he was always asleep at this time, he never noticed.

Silence had been quietly gnawing on a small kill she had made in the late afternoon when she had heard a commotion in the meadow. From her vantage point of a fallen log, where she had been laying for a good hour or so now, she saw a flurry of movement within the terrain before her as something, or someone, disturbed the peaceful evening with their play.

Her head tilted curiously whilst her golden eyes, which in the setting sun, looked like molten copper now, scanned the area for the culprit. With the long stems of the meadow however she was confused to find that she didn’t actually see anyone, and just as quickly as it had happened, the movement stopped, as if it had crashed into something during its run. It was most odd…

Though she was shy and somewhat cowardly by nature, she couldn’t help but be perplexed by the outburst. Her mind had made the assumption it was perhaps a hare or a rabbit, taking cover for the night but then again it had been a little too late for that. Perhaps it was a fox, or a small deer. She felt the need to investigate, despite her nervous disposition; she couldn’t help but want a closer look.

Slowly, she slid down from her log and allowed her dainty figure to skip through the path way the other had cut. She took a few tentative sniffs of the air and was able to assess the culprit – it appeared a wolf had been though here. Though this information merely confused her more; the wolf had suddenly vanished. Perhaps it had tripped and lay injured? Or worse…

Quickly, she set off upon the trail the other had made, darting here and there until at last her eyes came upon another small wolf. He wasn’t as tiny as her, but for once he wasn’t going to tower over her, which made her feel a little safer. However, none of that would matter if he were dead and judging by the stillness of him, balled upon himself she could only think the worse.

Quietly, she crept ever closer until she was but a few feet away from her. Unsure, she extended her front paw, hoping to poke him and find him merely asleep and not dead. Her nerves were on end, she was ready to sprint away as fast as she could were he either dead or should spook her. Her speed was all she had, she ran as if she were alate, quickly then the fastest or rabbits, but what she made up for in speed she lacked in strength, were this wolf tricking her, she'd be useless to defend herself. Running away was the only option and as her paw got closer and closer, she began to doubt her actions.

Please don’t be a dead body… please. her mind repeated silently.

The short sleep had brought sweet dreams, of dancing with a imaginary pack, the perfect pack - one that could protect him, but was also kind to him - unlike some. Fireflies would appear in the dreamworld as the group would bound around together, they seemed to all share his own passion for the world. But, it had been the short dream. He was awoken by a, small, nudge.

It was slow, but his mind ticked and started to turn back to reality again, and his ears flickered with the sounds of the meadow. His orange eyes open, and the male was confused when he saw it was still, though barely, sunlight. The wolf's head moved around, the gaze of him was curious. Then, he looked behind him to see golden eyes staring back. Stark squeaked out of surprise, jumping into the air and away from the other wolf. When he landed, his front legs went to the ground, ears going down in a submissive pose.

Well, it was not until then that he saw it was a female that was smaller than he was. Taking a moment to process this, Stark then sighed quietly and returned to a normal posture. "Oh, er, hi. You kinda scared me," The wolf started off, as if it wasn't obvious she had. "I didn't know there was another wolf here. I'm Stark!"

His voice cracked slightly at the end into a high pitch. This was something that happened often, even though he was an adult. And it usually happened whenever he exclaimed something, like how he did now. This really didn't help other male's teasing, since they mostly already referred to him as 'girly' very often. 'Course, not all males did that. ...But most.

Stark's tail wagged slowly, and he let his hindquarters hit the ground. Head tilted, he looked at the female strangely. It wasn't everyday Stark saw a white wolf, but it certainly wasn't an exceedingly rare color.

Her paw made contact. Nothing happened. Oh no… it is dead. she thought to herself and she prodded a little harder and a little more frantic. I gotta tell someone. Who should I te- Ah! She squeaked inside her mind and out loud as the wolf attached to her paw opened his eyes and looked straight into hers. In the instant he jumped backwards she bolted back to, falling onto her rear on the cold ground as he too crashed to the earth.

It appeared the pair were quite jumpy it seemed.

From her sitting point, she watched him lower himself to the ground. She knew the pose well, she used it often herself and she couldn’t help but allow a small smile at the gesture. She was no one of importance, and he had no reason to submit, despite his small size he was still bigger then her, she wasn’t a threat to him in any way.

Now the tricky part came, she had to communicate without speech and most didn’t understand her at all when it came down to it. She took a deep breath and rose to her four paws, but wasn’t standing for long as she lowered her front half to the floor and mimicked his previous actions, but rather then hide her head she looked at him with a tilted head and offered a warm smile to match her honey eyes. It was an apology for scaring him as well as a greeting.

She stayed put a moment before rising up to her full height, which wasn’t much, and faced him front on before she sat her rear down to the ground one more and began waving her paw at him. Hi Stark. she thought to herself.
