RoW Council, Wolf List, Random Events

Lots of updates, so let's get started! But first, let's all take a moment to thank all things wonderful that the semester is finished (or almost finished) and the holidays are here!

RoW Council

So here's the deal: we got a lot of really great staff applications. So great, that we honestly couldn't decide who would be the best fit for the team, and as much as we wanted to add multiple people, having too many cooks in the kitchen is a bad idea. So instead, we'd like to introduce to everyone the RoW Council (click for Library Article).

What we've decided to do is create a council that will rotate members every three months. This council will help participate in game discussion and will help with the upkeep of the game. By rotating the council, the staff hopes to include and act on different voices in the community and make the game better for everyone.

With that said, we'd like to congratulate Becuffin (@Naira), Mimi (@Maksim), and Allie (@Lucero) for being chosen as our first council members!

Wolf List

Sarah has already done a fantastic job, but everyone should head on over to the Wolf List which will help everyone keep track of where everybody's characters are during the BWP. If you'd like to make a correction, please feel free to post in that thread. All new members should be sure to add their characters to that list by responding to the thread.

Random Event: WINTER SOLSTICE

Courtesy of Grey, here's a BWP themed winter event. Remember, until the winter solstice, the days are short and the nights are long, dark, and full of terrors.

This Random Event will run until January 1st.

The strongest trees are rooted in the dark places of the earth. Darkness will be your cloak, your shield, your mother's milk. Darkness will make you strong... The trees and forests of Relic Lore provide decent protection from the winds but still allow the snows to filter through and chill it to its roots. When the sun sets and the frost makes the trees creak, what unimaginable dangers have come under the cloak of night?
