That is what the small dark brown fae concluded as she moved along. Her small paws sinking into the soft moss as she went. It covered every surface in this strange place, like an endless blanket. She may not of been so creeped out my the place if it was for the large array of insects that crawled over everything. She had on more than one occasion had to shake her fur merely to rid it of the creepy crawly bugs. This coupled with an eerie feeling she couldn't seem to shake had put the young fae on edge. Her thick rounded ears swivel around on high alert, her sensitive nose twitching wildly as it attempts to sort through the overwhelming array of scents.
Her belly rumbles as she pads softly along. Her normally silent paw steps cushioned by the thick moss below. It was an odd sensation but a welcomed relief for the fae, who had spent more time traveling than not. Her deep emerald gaze scans her surroundings, trying to keep her fur from prickling. It was in this sort of moment that Tiny pined for her brother's company. His comforting confidence and gentle humor. The way he looked out for the much smaller fae. Tiny sighs and shakes her skull. He is gone now, She thought with a pang of sadness. And he is never coming back. The idea made her heart feel heavy and her tail to droop. Shoving her brother's image from her mind the small fae glances around. She needed to eat if she was to keep traveling. Something her rumbling stomach certainty had not forgotten.
