This place was creepy.

That is what the small dark brown fae concluded as she moved along. Her small paws sinking into the soft moss as she went. It covered every surface in this strange place, like an endless blanket. She may not of been so creeped out my the place if it was for the large array of insects that crawled over everything. She had on more than one occasion had to shake her fur merely to rid it of the creepy crawly bugs. This coupled with an eerie feeling she couldn't seem to shake had put the young fae on edge. Her thick rounded ears swivel around on high alert, her sensitive nose twitching wildly as it attempts to sort through the overwhelming array of scents.

Her belly rumbles as she pads softly along. Her normally silent paw steps cushioned by the thick moss below. It was an odd sensation but a welcomed relief for the fae, who had spent more time traveling than not. Her deep emerald gaze scans her surroundings, trying to keep her fur from prickling. It was in this sort of moment that Tiny pined for her brother's company. His comforting confidence and gentle humor. The way he looked out for the much smaller fae. Tiny sighs and shakes her skull. He is gone now, She thought with a pang of sadness. And he is never coming back. The idea made her heart feel heavy and her tail to droop. Shoving her brother's image from her mind the small fae glances around. She needed to eat if she was to keep traveling. Something her rumbling stomach certainty had not forgotten.

Albireo Cygni

Albireo's aimless ambling had managed to lead him further out from Magnolia Glen than he usually bothered to venture. With everything he needed in one place, he seldom saw the reason to go much further than the pack's surrounding forest. That was not to say that the brute didn't ever grow curious, or, at least a sense similar enough to curiousity, nor that he was never taken by wanderlust. With the air cooling as fall approached it was much easier to walk further without quickly growing tired in the summer heat. It was easy to just keep on going, and after a couple days he had made it into the southern end of Relic Lore.

The soft moss underfoot soothed his travel-sore paw pads. It might have been half pleasant if not for the countless insects that buzzed about his eyes or tried to land on his nose. He chomped ineffectively at the air, trying to smite the little nuisances before they had a chance to terrorize his face futher. Unfortunately, the bugs were much too quick for the Cygni. Eventually he settled on just shaking his head and flicking his ears as he walked, growling and whining, trying his best to ignore them.

Through the trees she spotted a brown coated female. He stared for a few moments, snorting and twitching, before he made up his mind. With little warning, he barreled through the fallen, rotted forest towards her, abruptly stopping just a few yards away. "I know you're doing this. Make it stop," he grumbled, his dull brown eyes narrowed to slits. The pallid banner of his tail arched up behind him as he glared at the little wolf.

Tiny
The tiny fae is suddenly aware that she isn't alone, seconds before the arrival of a grizzled grey brute. When he barrels through their moss covered surroundings, Tiny cannot help but jump back with surprise. Her surprise is only multiplied by the words that accompany the brute's appearance. 'I Know your doing this. Make it stop.' Thick ears pinning against her skull, Tiny's emerald green eyes roam over the brute in confusion. Doing what? She thought, she had merely been walking along getting eaten by insects.
" Doing what exactly?" She asks softly, trying to keep her nerves out of her words as her eyes skim her surroundings for an escape route. She keeps her tail level, her whole body poised for flight. Trying to keep her body from quivering as she watches the brute. She is careful not to meet his eyes. Though he did not show any signs of being a dominant it wasn't worth getting into a fight.
Meanwhile the insects found her pause in movement the perfect time to roost. Causing Tiny's head to itch and her ears to flick in order to escape the pesky insects bite. As much as this encounter set Tiny's nerves on end she couldn't help but be curious about the brute before her. He smelled faintly of plant life and wasn't terribly large. But something about those dull eyes made Tiny wary of the brute. What could he possibly think she had done? The question was going to drive her crazy, as she waits with rapt attention for the brute's reply.
