Dead Empress Backwater XII. Yearling
Ally Valle
For @Eros and maybe @Asmund only

I guess it goes to show, does it not?

THAT WE'VE NO IDEA WHAT WE'VE GOT UNTIL WE LOSE IT

It was a coincidence she saw them at all, really. She'd hurt her paw on the ice, twisted a claw enough for a bit of blood and putting weight on it hurt. She didn't think it was bad, but she'd wanted to visit @Clover just to make sure. She was trying to be better, after all, and it wouldn't do for her to let herself get hurt and have to remain in the background longer. She needed to be a member of the pack. A real member.

So she was there, a little outside, when Asmund and Eros appeared. Her ears pricked up upon seeing her uncle, and then horror shot through her. Something was wrong. Adrenaline pumping through her Ally forgot her own pain and ran to help. "Eros! What happened? Are you okay?" she gushed, sniffing all over him and pausing when she spotted his leg. Her eyes grew wide and she looked up at him and his escort. "What did you do? How bad is it?" Had he tripped? Gotten into a fight? Where had he been?

Dead Empress Backwater IV. Second
Asmund Ingerssen Valle
It was too perfect. Asmund had to smother a grin as his eyes landed on Ally and she shifted from confused to thoroughly concerned. This was exactly what Eros deserved, and an ideal reminder of why he needed to be far less reckless with his own safety.

He kept moving, passing the yearling by to seek out @Clover so that she could begin tending to the leader's injury. The quicker the better, for all matters of his healing. He had work to do.

just tagging Clo for reference, this is effectively Asmund's exit. <3

Dead Empress Backwater II. Leader
Eros Valle
Eros almost turned around when he recognized Ally's scent, but the question of why she was at the infirmary was far more pressing than his want to shield her (and himself) from finding out about his own injury. He picked up the pace as best he could given the pain radiating from his forelimb, and was relieved to see that it didn't look like anything major was wrong. There was a hint of her blood in the air, but-

Her questions began and his ears folded back sheepishly (one still bleeding freely), the guilt clear all across his features for a brief moment before he mustered up a little grin. He hated causing her any kind of strife. His tail began to wave too, for good measure.

"I'm okay, I promise!" he reassured quickly.

"We were trying to avoid a bear, and I tripped into a ditch. I... really landed wrong on my leg, but it's nothing that won't heal. What about you?"

That was what really mattered here, at least to Eros.

"Why're you here? Are you bleeding?"

If so, he could get her a stopper and some pain relief...
