It was late afternoon by the time she found herself in the Ghastly Woods. It was odd being here, feeling purposeless. It was only her and Bardou, now. But the aging Tainn girl refused to let that fact get her down. It was merely the chance to expand her horizons, as if they weren't expanded enough. Despite its name, she didn't find it much different than the other wooded areas of this land. Perhaps a bit darker, with annoyingly tickly branches, but hardly anything to be afraid of. However, she wasn't sure if this would be the best place to call home. She'd have to ask Bardou, but in her opinion, it wasn't far away enough from the Grove. She didn't want to risk crossing paths with any River wolves, and that included her brother. No reason to make it any harder for either of them.

Her nose teased the air, and her brows furrowed slightly. The tawny girl attempted to identify the scent, eyes ensconced on a branch above her, focusing hard. Something about the scent was quite familiar, but it was quite faint, and she wasn't able to place a paw upon it. Her eyes dropped, concentration broken, and she shook her head. It was probably nothing. Bored of walking, she moved along side a tree, rubbing her muzzle across it before settling down beside its base, a yawn separating her jaws. <b style="color:#32527a">"speech."

While his original journey had lead him to the haunted woods in search of Kinis – Ruiko it seemed, would never give up looking for his younger brother.. the unrest he felt at knowing where the youthful male had disappeared to still spurned him onward each day, and every evening he would return empty. Aeylen’s swelling stomach served to remind him that his duties were being neglected, and yet each day he could not stop the trail he would take.. always leading him to an unsearched area and with the hopes that he would at least find Kinis’ body and take him home where he belonged. Of course, as each day passed, this became more and more unlikely.

Yet now, his large paws trailing through the woods, Ruiko came to a halt as a familiar and invasive smell filtered his nostrils. His gaze shot upward, seeking the direction he believed her to have come from, and prowling forward more eagerly, the large male came upon the small clearing where his gaze was met with his younger sister. “Borlla,” he murmured, halting in his pace, uncertain if she would even welcome his presence. His eyes only briefly swept over the male she was with, but he was of little concern at the moment. She had grown so much, it pained Ruiko to count the months since he had last seen her.
