Post prompt response: How silly, to think he could find his sister. He was a little more experienced from his first foray into the wilderness-- though that had been much less his own choice-- but still he was young. He'd seen the sadness in his father's gaze when his sister hadn't returned. He wanted to fix it after worrying the man so much. Atlas had spent too long sniffing every nook and dark place, hoping for some hint of Kalysta and found nothing.
Now he returned to his pack defeated and failed. He hadn't found her. He met his father in the forest once again with a whine of apology for his own absence.
