Kanosak

He still didn’t know what possessed him to be gone for so long... Long enough that the scent of his pack was so faint on his fur as to no longer be detectable. There were pups on the way... but strangely, the thought no longer crossed his mind. No longer gnawed at him as it once had. There was a rift in his soul, and he wasn’t his usual loyal caring self anymore. There was change in the heavy air.

He just needed to get to the bottom of it all. Rolu, Vander, Wille, Rebecca... Why had they abandoned them? It didn’t register in his thoughts that he too had abandoned his pack. To his twisted way of thinking he was on an errand to round up the wayward wolves and chase them back with the golden wolf snapping on their heels. Perhaps he was going mad?

His state had left him thin, not as thin as he had been with the winter, but thin enough to speak of a pack that no longer took his care as important. His coat was loosing its luster and so was his purposeful step, though he wouldn’t admit it himself. He was a loner again.

The thought echoed at the back of his mind and he suppressed it with a growl. He would never just walk out on his family. Kinis was the only wolf he refused to think on any more. The boy was gone. Just like Maia, just like his birth pack. The boy was beyond his reach.

Occasionally, he would catch whiff of a familiar scent, following it until the trail ended, never quite putting a name or a face to the scent. Such things were now unimportant to the rogue, and while his steps were made with purpose, his direction was aimless. He didn’t know where to start, so he made his way back to the tree he had called his den when he met both Wille and Rebecca. It was still as cold and stale as it should be after months abandoned and he decided to make it his base of operations. He would find them, and he would dig more into what had happened to his sister, and what part Volkan’s brother played in his sisters disloyalty.

Nina Hervok
ooc: I really wanted to put Nina in here because she has been wandering and I kind of wanted her to have another thread with Kano. Hope this okay. <3

It had not been long since he had left her pack to explore a little. She had recently marked the borders making it clear to the creatures outside of the borders that someone was living in the territory and if they dare cross the border then they would surely get their flanks skinned. Surely enough Kanosak had disappeared from the pack and Nina had made sure to help her new family as much as she could. She started marking the borders, gathering more herbs than usual, and hunting more than she was used to. She herself hadn't gotten enough rest recently, she was still getting used to her new routine.

Now her days were mostly made up of sleeping and doing her work. Kashikoi was one of her main focuses now that Kanosak had left. The boy would soon be turning into a man and Nina had taken on the full role as caretaker and teacher. Now she just headed out, walking for a small while. She needed the break desperately and maybe she could possibly find another male packmate. She wouldn't mind this considering the face that Creek pack was running low on male members, something they couldn't risk, but now walking through the forest the only thing she really wanted to do was lay on the grass and sleep.

Then she heard something, a growl, and she winced. Someone had seen her surely. Had she trespassed on another's territory? She could only hope not. She had never really traveled over here so she didn't know the area. Casting her green eyes around she saw a breif flash of golden fur. . .familiar golden fur. Kano? Please be Kano and not another wolf. The wolf that she had alerted had obviously not really seen or heard her. Which was probably a good thing. Walking towards the male she barked out softly trying to get his attention. He smelt familiar but she couldn't place the scent exactly. She could only hope that this golden fur she saw was Kano.
It seems when you're around, my life is complete.
