Nineva Hervok
@Deacon

She had been waiting for what seemed to take forever for her mother and siblings to fall into a deep, peaceful slumber. It was necessary, for her to be able to do what she want, that everyone be sound asleep. Nineva had quickly learned through all the rudely abrupt corrections of being snatched up off the ground and place back into the den that the others who lived with her did not want her to venture out into the world. She couldn't know that this was for her safety, even though a few of the adults had attempted to explain. Such a concept was far too complex for her at this stage, for a single thing had yet to harm her; she truly did not know what it meant to be in pain or to feel fear.

But she knew wonder and curiosity, as when not hungry or tired they were the driving forces behind her every action. Unable to grasp exactly what it was she after, she only knew that there was more, and that she wanted to experience it all. The more the adults tried to stop her, the more sneaky she became in attempting to make her own way out from under their noses.

She crept now, away from her mother and over the threshold of her natal den. Her mismatched eyes wavered back and forth, the single good seer searching frantically for her father who was so often about. Content that she did not find him anywhere in the vicinity, Nineva dared a few more steps. "G... guh..." she murmured, knowing the word she wanted to use but unable to wrap her tongue in exactly the right way to pronounce it. Finally, now a few yards from the safety of her den, she was able to get it out; "Go."

The princess paused then, now standing tall on her short little legs, twitching nose in the air to verify once more that there was no one about to stop her. This took a moment as she wanted to be cautious, tired already of failed attempts. Once completely sure (or as sure as a pup with untrained senses could be), a smile curled her tiny maw and a single sentence was uttered before she took off at a toddling run; "I go!"

Korrin Hervok

Time had passed and each day the boy seemed to become more amazed at the world outside their dark resting place. Curiousity was a feeling he was quickly becoming accustomed to, but also to the much heard words yes and no. Korrin was a curious child, but he felt content in the embrace of his doting parents so unlike his adventurous older sister, the rusty colored pup spent his days eating, sleeping, or seeking out his father, @Ash to play. The blue eyed child had come to realize that his parents, for some odd reason, didn't want the pups to venture too far from them. He was too young to know the dangers of the world and of the people within it, but the Hervok knew enough by now that no meant no. Unfortunately, his sister still seemed to be tugged by her curious feelings. Nineva's movements awoke the pup and he watched her with an interested blue gaze as she toddled out of the den.

What was she doing? Korrin decided that he too would join in in whatever she was doing. Following his grey sister, Korrin crawled over the forms of his parents and tried to follow the girl as silently as he could. When she started to run, Korrin's brow scrunched in confusion. His brow scrunched in confusion as he forgot all about being silent and scurried after his mischievious sister. "No," he called out firmly, now only a few toddling steps from Nineva. "S-Stway!," he continued. Already Korrin was acting out what would one day be his philosophy - when an order was given, it had to be followed.

Nineva Hervok
Her legs moved almost in windmill fashion, each step overreaching in an effort to not trip over anything. She had learned by now that her fat ungainly paws often caught under anything and everything, causing her to tumble and hindering her progress. The little girl was determined that nothing, especially not her own paws, would get in the way of her goal this time. And yet, as fate always seemed to have it, her get away hadn't been quite as clean as she'd thought.

Korrin's childish but firm voice shot across the space between them to enter her newly-erected ears, causing her to turn her little head and look behind herself at him. She never stopped moving, however, and as his second command left his mouth and she saw now that he was chasing her, Nineva only moved faster, desperately trying to outrun her overprotective sibling.

"NO!" she shouted, forgetting her stealth in all of her frustration. "Goway Korn!" Why did he have to ruin her fun? Why wasn't he helping her instead, didn't he wonder what was out there like she did? Apparently, her valiant effort was floccinaucinihilipilificated by him, and this, along with the simple fact of not getting what she wanted, made her angry.

However, she wouldn't tantrum like her sister @Rose ; if he wanted to chase her, she'd give him a run for his money.

Rose Hervok

Regretfully the minuscule princess had been a witness to the whole fiasco between her two siblings, and coming up with the proper actions to take were seemingly difficult. She knew it'd be best to wake their parents, alarm them of the crime her brother and sister had just committed, but wouldn't that be a bit typical of her? She'd never make it obvious, but the well being of her litter-mates happened to be of vast importance to her! When she tattled, well, it was for the greater good! Though apparently not the action she'd seek tonight. The opinions Nineva and Korrin held for her also meant something, so maybe just this once she'd try to persuade them herself.

Finally able to talk herself into standing up, the chubby fuzzball cautiously trotted outside of the den. It appeared doubtful that shed be able to catch up with them, she'd  wasted too much time just contemplating! Nevertheless she had to try. "Neveva'n korwin! Geback or i tell mumma!!" unpleasantly screeching, she wouldn't be afraid to show them just how much trouble they where in when she finally caught up. "Korwin stahp!!" She knew it be easiest to reason with her brother, it was more or less not his fault to begin with. Of course Nineva was the source of all the trouble, when wasn't she?

Rose couldn't help but play through all the angry expressions her parents would make upon their return. They'd never fallen short of stern when it came to leaving the den, and though she couldn't comprehend why, it was a decision she felt compelled to respect. The nerve of her siblings, hadn't they realized they were going to get her in trouble too?! The auburn pup grew more and more irritated as she hopelessly attempted to pick up the pace, they sure were in for an ear full.

Korrin Hervok

Korrin continued running after his sister, determined to catch her. His 'run' however was more like a 'fast toddle' as he still hadn't gotten quite used to walking on his legs, let alone running. Why did Nineva have to go off and try to have fun? And at night? Didn't she know there was a reason there parents told them no when they explored? The boy didn't know about dangers, but he knew bad from right for his parents said it almost as constantly as they said yes and no to the rambunctious litter. And this was bad. Nineva answered him with a loud, angry shout and the boy huffed his annoyance. Korrin didn't bother with an answer as he sped up, trying not to topple over his fat, useless paws while trying to catch Nineva in time before they got in trouble and had to suffer their father's wrath. Of course, Korrin would take the blame. He didn't want anything to happen to Nineva..no matter how much she deserved it.

The boy let out a tiny growl as Rose's high shriek pierced through the air and he turned to glare at her so she would get the message to shut up. They were definitely done for now, but Korrin was still determined to stop Nineva at all cost. It was nothing short of a miracle the small pup managed to stay on his paws as he turned from staring at Rose and then staring at Nineva's ever closer backside while still running. He was so close, Korrin could touch her tail if he wanted to..and if he stretched. Later, he would have no idea how or why he did what he did, but his only thought at that moment was to catch Nineva and quiet Rose, so they could all go back home and manage to stay in one piece. Suddenly, his legs weren't on the ground but in the air as the boy tried to pounce on his older sister.

@Narimé @Ash someone is probably going to want to intervene soon ;)

An unfortunately familiar screech chased after her, a siren for all to hear. At her incredibly young age, Nineva didn't know many harsh words. However, inside her tiny head, she was cursing her siblings as best she could. Her plans had now been thoroughly ruined, there was no doubting it. Sure, she had broken their parents cardinal rule, but it had been with the best of intentions. Korrin and Rose just wanted to spoil her fun, which was in her mind an even greater crime; of betrayal. And she would be sure to punish them for it!

She hadn't intended to time it so perfectly, of course. But as Korrin lunged forward for the tackle, the little girl spun sharply on her fat paws. Her back legs skittered out from under her, as she lacked the coordination to successful complete the maneuver she had been planning, but she was still ready for him when his puppy weight came down on her.

Her toes spread, she batted him with her paws and gnawed at his muzzle and chest. Her 'attacks' weren't really meant to hurt him, but she was certain to end up on top. And then Rose would be in for it next!

Narimé Lagina

Narime loped over the landscape passing by the plentiful grasses, herbs, and sedges that grew in her home. The gray woman held a fat rabbit in her jaws; something she had caught while heading back to the den where her pups lay. The dumb creature had sat in the grass practically asking Nari to chase it, and without a second thought she had. Luckily for her the she wolf was in good health, so she did not have much trouble catching the furry thing.

Since she had a little mini hunt after leaving the den to originally get a drink of water, Nari was returning rather late. She wasn't horribly worried about the pups since Ash or Yuka were most likely lurking around the shadows someplace nearby. Plus she still had @Alexynik to count on. The other woman had not left the pack yet, which did surprise Narimé since most of her members liked to disappear after a few months of eating from the packs caches. Then again, Alexy did swear and oath to her. Perhaps an oath meant more to some wolves than a promise. Either way, Nari was glad that the pack had some kind of stability despite being a little low in number.

As she arrived onto the scene Nari was surprised to see all the pups out and about. They seemed to be quarreling, or maybe just play fighting with each other. Seeing them like this reminded her of when Titan and Malia were pups play fighting by the entrance of the den. A little stab of pain shot into her heart as Nari sighed and walked towards the youngsters. She smiled and forced her tail to wag as the silver wolf moved to drop the rabbit at the entrance to the den. Once her mouth was free Nari turned to give a stern but amused look to the pups.

”Nineva, Korrin, Rose come here...” She called to them with a voice as smooth and sweet as honey. She lowered her front end down to their level letting her tail wag flopping around above her back. She gave a low but happy growl enticing the pups to stop what they were doing and come to her. Nari wasn't too tired to play.

Her siblings were simply not listening to her! Why couldn't they see she was trying to help? As her brother glared at her, the tiny princess felt an uncontrollable rage build up inside. He was supposed to be the understanding one, how dare he! "Korwin! Noh!" she hissed, fighting back tears of frustration. What a mess this was playing out to be, they were all in for a boat load of trouble once their parents caught on! She was about to officially take off after them, but a scuffle managed to break through between the two siblings and honestly, well, it frightened her. "Staaahhpp!!!" she wailed uncontrollably. "Neveva nooh! Dun hurt him!!! Stahhp!"

Rose couldn't help but to allow a malicious grin form upon her muzzle as her mothers voice pierced through her ears. Wiping the tears from her eyes, the scarlet princess turned to face her hero. "Shee guys!! Mumma mad! Ya' in trouble!!" trotting over to Narimé, she would not hesitate to tell of all the horrible things they had done while she lacked in presence. After all, the princess tried to stop them. They didn't listen. "Mumma!!!"

Officially greeting her mother with a rub on her head, she glanced up into her eyes with anticipation. "Go head' mumma! Tell em they bad!" This was a proud moment for the girl, in fact, any situation in which Nineva got punished was a proud moment. "Dey snucked out! I say ge'back home! Dey fight instead mumma!" Gleaming with said pride, she impatiently waited for her mother to pass judgement upon her siblings.

Ash Hervok

He quite enjoyed being a father. In fact, the thought came to him when he truly realized that his mate and children were all still there with him…that they had not disappeared on him. It was a comfort to know that he had a family that would remain with him and would not leave him hanging in the dust. Even the thought of such a thing left a sick feeling in his stomach. It was why he kept a strict eye on his family while trying not to be too suffocating in the process. However, if he ever needed to intervene, he would not hesitate to do so. So on a nice day, he had left the kids alone for a little stroll, trusting that they would stay out of mischief and enjoy some alone time together while Narimè was out on a hunt. The Hervok did not stray too far, so when the sounds of his children screaming reached his ears, he was quick to return, his paws moving him quickly through the dense forest, mossy green eyes wide in panic. When he arrived, he was slightly relieved to see Nari there already and slightly irritated to find his children fighting with one another. Ash knew it was normal, he had always fought with his brothers and sister in his litter but it still did not make him like it. His lips drew back into a scowl and his eyebrows creased in displeasure, his mossy green eyes immediately finding Rose’s form, listening to her words.

Deciding that his presence he might be enough to keep his children in line, he made his way over to his lover, placing a gentle kiss on her cheek before sitting down next to her. Ash kept his eyes on Korrin and Nineva, certain that Rose would behave herself without him having to watch over her. She always seemed to be the one to follow the rules, even if there was a certain joy in telling on her sister. Ash’s ear was directed at Nari, curious to hear what she thought about this situation. After all, he had been the one that was supposed to watch over them and it was obvious that they had tried getting mischief as soon as he departed. Hopefully, his mate would not be too upset with him and allow the children to run on their own track.

Maybe make this the final round, if one of the parents don't mind putting the little ones back to bed and fading? (:

Her mother's soothing voice entered the air, sending both of a thrill of adrenaline through the child but also placating her. Fearing that she was in trouble, she immediately melted off of her brother and toddled over to Narime's bowed form. Their matriarch certainly didn't look upset, and so Nineva soon perked up, tail wagging vigorously behind her a adorned her beloved mother's face with tender nibbles. It wasn't until Rose's nails-on-chalkboard voice registered with the girl again that she froze completely, turning to give her younger sister a malevolent glare.

"Teller!" Nineva shouted back, as though it was dirtiest word she could muster - and it was. Her wiry fur puffed away from her body, the small whelp nearly doubling in size as she braced herself for combat once again. A growl slipped from her maw as her paws pulled at the grass, her body staying in place.

What was her problem? Why couldn't Rose ever leave good enough alone! Mother had seen with her own eyes what they had been doing, right? And she hadn't been mad! But Rose couldn't be satisfied with that. A scowl embedded itself deeply upon her small muzzle as she wanted nothing more than to knock her sister over and give her ear a good yank.

When their father then abruptly showed up, Nineva attempted to quiet her own aggressive display, but it was hard to fight down her anger.

"Tellers don' have frien's," she growled threateningly at Rose for good measure.
