Oak Tree Bend is the strongest it has ever been, but it has been a long and difficult journey for the wolves of the Bend to reach this point. Last spring, after her return, Nayeli gave birth to two pups - Sahalie and Drift. But within days of their birth, Nayeli abandoned her newborns, requiring Spieden to step up and raise the two Tainn children. Distraught over his mate's disappearance, Triell left the pack to look for her, leaving Drestig as the pack's male leader.

Under Drestig and Spieden's leadership, the Bend began to thrive. Oak Tree Bend developed an alliance with both Fallen Tree Cove and Hearthwood River, pledging to share information and to work together to ensure the survival of their members. However, tragedy was not far behind, and the Bend was met with several challenges that tested their resolve. Hotei Tainn, Triell's brother and Jessie's mate, died in a freak accident, while Anneliese died defending the pack's borders against a wild boar. Zera, Triell's oldest daughter, went missing and was followed by her brother Darrah, who was absent for several months searching for his sister before returning in the spring. Drift, Triell's youngest son, also went missing but was subsequently found by Sahalie.

Perhaps the greatest challenged faced by the Bend came in the Spring. Triell had returned to the Bend, bringing with him a new partner - Naira. Unwilling to step down after having led the pack for so long, Drestig proposed relocating the pack to the western side of Relic Lore. His proposal was ultimately rejected by the pack, with none but Jessie choosing to follow him. After Drestig and Jessie's departure, Triell resumed leadership. In the following chaos of breeding season, three Bend women became pregnant and gave birth: Naira, Spieden, and Aponi.

Now with a total of five pups to care for, the Bend has its work cut out for it. However, despite the turbulences of the previous year, the pack seems in high spirits and have really come together. Although Drift has taken leave of the Bend to travel on his own and Triell has once again stepped down from leadership due to an injury, allowing Serach to rise to leader, the sense of community in the pack, driven in large part by Sahalie's efforts, is at an all time high.
