It was a year of ups and downs for the wolves of Aurora Heights.  The small pack had the joy of watching young Revon grow.  While the summer was peaceful and pleasant, the fall was decidedly less so.  Heigen disappeared, and was never found.  Iyes vanished the same way.  Elias and Summiter were recruited, but in the late fall, the wolves of Aurora Heights and Willow Ridge got into a verbal spar over hunting grounds, despite the familial relationships between Greer, Ravenna, and Sven.

The relationship remained icy at best, and contact was largely avoided over the winter.  The snowy months also brought triumphant return of Ember, one of Kyna’s closest friends, and founding pack member.  A few months later, Revon abruptly went missing -- a stranger described Sven as the perpetrator, and a panicked Kyna believed him, for a while.  Tensions escalated with Willow Ridge, though nothing ever boiled over.  It took many weeks, but Greer eventually retrieved his daughter safe and sound...and shoved the actual kidnapper off the mountain.

Unfortunately, breeding season saw the departure of Elias, but Kyna and Greer later welcomed three boys into the pack: Vindlys, Capra, and Lance.  The trio are an utter riot.  Though the coyotes briefly bothered the pack whilst old friends Sahalie and Kino were visiting, Aurora Heights seems to be largely insulated on its lonely plateau.
