The past year has had its ups and downs for Fallen Tree Cove. Under the leadership of Moonshadow and Kajika it has flourished with members joining and staying. The leadership had had their rocky moments but being the good friends they are, the two alphas worked things out. A loss was suffered when young Chan, the son of Moonshadow and Tagg, disappeared. Being the dutiful father that he is, Tagg went in search of his son and was absent for many months. During that time a former packmate of his appeared at the borders. Tagg returned without Chan and it was soon discovered that his former packmate Tikhi was up to no good. She eventually tried to attack Moonshadow forcing Tagg’s paw and she was slain.

One winter night a thief was discovered trying to steal from the packs caches. The cove wolves learned her name was Tulip and before she was chased out she was given an offer to remain in the pack as lowest which she accepted. Over time she became a valuable part of the pack until the day it was discovered she was missing. During her time in the pack she and Solas became closer, upon her disappearance he left the cove in search of her.

The pack was graced with the gift of Naimd’s return but the happiness didn't last long. She informed Kajika and Moonshadow that she was dying. The former queen was able to spend the rest of her time in the pack she helped to build with the wolves who cared about her. Slowly she faded until the fateful day when she passed away and was laid to rest with the coves fallen members. She will be missed.

During the winter Kajika met Birtie when she joined the cove, the two of them developing a relationship that led to the cove’s first litter of the spring being born. They were soon joined in having a family when Moonshadow gave birth to her and Tagg’s second litter just a few weeks later. Shortly after, the cove was blessed with yet another joyous occasion when Chan returned to join his birth pack.

With these wins, Fallen Tree Cove is looking forward to a bright new year.
