Morganna and Celandine returned to the Lore in mid-winter with Renier and Maeve in tow. Initially, they had thought to wait out the season in the West, and give Morg's children time to catch up, but a chance encounter with Niles, and a borrowed scout from Aurora Heights meant a change in plans. Upon discovering her brother's sick mate, and what was left of Quaking Vale, Morganna pushed their plans aside in hopes that she might ease some of Niles’ burden. The band of wolves in wait by the Lagoon—which had grown with the addition of one very sick Skoll Archer—arrived at the Vale in a timely manor, and there they stayed until Castel's passing. With nothing left to tie them to the suffocating forest, they set their sights once more on the western horizon.

In looking for a place to call their own, Morganna and Celandine came across a white snow-shoe hare that seemingly beckoned them to carve out a place beside the Lagoon, and so they did. On January 16th, 2018 the former Vale wolves tipped their muzzles to the sky, and christened their little piece of the lagoon Pookastone Scowle.

Shortly after claiming, Celandine grew weary of waiting and setting her own goals aside so that Niles could morn. On February 11, 2018 the woman finally challenged him for his rank. She was successful, and so Pookastone became the first pack in Relic-Lore to be led by two females.

Spring brought with it the promise of new life, as Celandine unexpectedly took Skoll to mate, and Morganna took Renier. Pookastone took its first major hit shortly thereafter with the death of Maeve, who was not only a founding member, but someone very dear to both of the leaders.

Celandine and Skoll welcomed Pookastone's first litter on the third of May, and just a few days later, on the sixth of May, Morganna and Renier welcomed the second. What the future holds for this relatively new pack remains to be seen, but regardless, the wolves of Pookastone will be ready.
