Early in the year, Naira and Treyah continued to butt heads. After wandering off in a daze and meeting a familiar looking stranger, the former leader took a fall, leaving her yearling daughter to fill her place alongside Kerberos, leaving no trace in her wake.

The new burden of responsibilities saw a closeness blossom between Kerberos and Treyah, while all around them the wildwood continued to burn with the wordless coming and going of family and friends alike. Lacey was briefly found, only to disappear again, adding additional strain to her parent's relationship. Triell also dissapeared, with Garmir finding that his trail vanished into the wake of an avalanche.

As winter turned to spring, personal strain, pack turbulence and repeated incursions by outsiders awoke a new aggression within Kerberos, culminating in both an affair and explosive confrontation that eventually lead to Maera taking her leave of the Draw and Kerberos stepping down as leader. Treyah chose Draven to father her first litter as leader of the Draw, while her new co-lead, Tenebrae (Dread) was harbouring a secret of his own. Shortly before her children were due to be born, in true Treyah fashion, she managed to gather up a pregnant Nauja and her mate, Tyne offering them shelter from the lingering coyote threat, just in time for the birth of Zale. She, and Draven also stumbled across Sahalie and Kino - and the awkward realisation that their children wouldn't just be cousins, but on both sides of the family. Refusing to leave family to the elements, they too were dragged back to the safety of the Draw, and whether the move is to remain temporarily is yet to be seen.

The birth of Scorpius and Aquaria brought about a new dominance within their father and he quickly rose to oust the former leader and his stand-in through dominance displays alone. Garmir resumed his search for Triell on Treyah's behalf, and the children began to cause new mischief, all their own.
