Eskil listened carefully as the silvery Archer-Lyall answered in regards to his question. He subtly nodded his head in understanding at what she meant by loss, winter could be unforgiving and he needed no elaboration on the topic. He tried not to let his thoughts linger too long about the hardship him and his warband must have caused others in the colder months. Families with their own lives and their own struggles, nameless enemies to be conquered who in reality were not much different from him or the woman resting beside him.
Her own question pulled him from his musing, a triangular ear flicking towards her followed by his spruce eyes. "Of course," He answered with a dip of his head, the hint of a smile on the corner of his lips. If not only for the fact that he was growing weary from his travels, the younger woman captivated him. Whether or not it was simply the influence of the season and her proximity, or something else was a riddle he would have to figure out when he returned. He would lay quietly beside her for a while, but not wanting to overwear his welcome the large male eventually stood, stretching his limbs out behind him and shaking out his creamy coat. "I will see you then."
