Spectral Woods Lost in everyway

Arnaq allowed the mother's silver sides to press firmly against her and seemed as Aponi expected she would be, excited. Soon the scent of the Bend covered her pelt and with it the acceptance was finalized. When the girl passed through the borders no one would question her with the Alpha's markers symbolizing that she belonged. Soon winter would truly give way to spring and the snow would stop falling and the territory would be green and the children within her belly would be keeping them all on their toes. One more wolf walking the borders and keeping them in line and fed would always be a bonus.

Nodding her head to acknowledge Arnaq's display of submission the composed mask melted into a smile. "Very well, welcome to Oak Tree Bend. My mate should be doing his border patrols right now, let's go find him so I can make your introduction." Aponi turned away, expecting the newest member of the pack would follow behind her without any further prompting. The Donata was used to getting what she wanted and expected nothing less, probably the reason she felt more comfortable as a leader than a subordinate.

The pair set off through the snow, and Aponi couldn't help but think that maybe this was a sign that the Bend was stronger than it had been this winter. The spring meant big things for the pack.
