Ravenna Archer-Lyall
Ravenna Lyall listened on more or less quietly, standing only as a buffer of sorts and to simply know what was going to go down. Eskil agreed to Enoki's terms, of course, that he would be tending to making sure the child was well fed and taught how to be a good wolf is she aged. Surely she would still be a "part of the family" as the rest. They all lived together after all and soon enough would all sleep in the same den and eat from the same caches. With Enoki rearing the girl everything likely would turn out much more smoothly then it had for Sven. If Enoki was fine with it, Ravenna would be fine with it too.

When Eskil spoke of the little girl's name, without thought did Ravenna snarl to this, the hairs along her back standing on end in a rather aggressive manner with an obvious distaste for what the man said. Elle was the child's name? From who's thoughts did this decision for a name come from? Was the mother someone (as there were many Ravenna was sure) who had loved Elettra? Someone who wished to honor her by giving their child a sort of nickname from the original woman who held it? Though these thoughts did quickly pass over Ravenna's thoughts, she also couldn't help to think that this might be some cruel joke. Enoki's daughter was named Adeltra and Ravenna had every intention of nicknaming her 'Ele' as some had called her mother. She guessed not anymore, for this little pup that Eskil would be left to care for as her own father would be instead named Elle.

For a moment, a hard stare was sent down onto the little ball of fur as Eskil's paws. Ravenna had not at all mentioned the recent death of both her parents to Eskil just yet. He was still the new guy, after all. Surely Enoki would understand the spat from Ravenna's jaws even if the male here was left questioning. Ether way, Ravenna had enough here and so turned and stomped off with an irritated "huff".

Enoki Archer
Without much hesitation, Eskil agreed with the terms of the cub's future once she was of age to be weaned from Enoki's milk and agreed that what she requested was only fair given the situation he had thrust unexpectedly upon the new mother. A nod was given and the matriarch was beginning to believe the conversation was sealed with a wax stamp when Eskil shoved a sharp knife painfully into Enoki's heart by revealing the child's name gifted to her by her birth mother. Elle.

Oh, how fate could be such a cruel and beautiful thing. An idea made known only to Elettra it had been a secret desire of the dappled woman to name a daughter should she be so lucky to be gifted with the chance to have a family of her own to name her after the now fallen but deeply beloved Archer that Enoki had looked up to and respected so much. Of course, her daughter Adeltra had been named partially after the woman, the young cub instead given a mixture of both fallen aunts to appease the love both herself and Nicolo felt for Elettra and Adele. Now here she was presented with another daughter to raise and what were the odds that she would already be given the name Elle by a woman most likely unaware of the powerful woman that formerly ruled these lands?

A snarl off to the side quickly caught Enoki's attention and smoldering amber eyes shifted away from the scared face of Eskil to catch the hard stare projected at the innocent child and aggressive demeanor Ravenna possessed. Not long after a huff falling from her lips before the silvered woman stormed off. Silence fell between the remaining wolves as Enoki watched the girl trod off until her silhouette vanished from sight, a heavy sigh escaping. "Please excuse Ravenna for that, Eskil." A weary tone gradually wormed its way into Enoki's voice as she spoke, once more gazing upon the man's face. "The name strikes a sore spot in both of us for Ravenna's mother was nicknamed El." She revealed nothing more on the subject, her vagueness still holding enough clues to point the man in the direction of why Ravenna reacted the way she did. If Eskil wanted to know more he could ask, but that would be answered another day.

The new mother had exerted what little energy she had to herself and like clockwork, the whines of her cubs within the birthing den alerted the mother that it was time once more for another round of feeding. "I'll take good care of her, Eskil." Enoki spoke softly and honestly, bending her head down to carefully grab the newest addition to their family by the scruff of her tiny neck, mumbling a lighthearted reference toward feeding the always hungry children and a farewell to lighten the mood before retreating into the den to tend to the demands of all three children.

Fade.
