They all agreed partaking on the carcass before moving it back was the best bet, and would help them drag the creature back for the rest of the pack. Siyet suggested an ordering and Aquene shook her head. “You found it, and we would not have been able to what we did if you had not.” She pointed out to the other woman softly with a light wag of her tail. It was in her nature to make sure everyone else was tended to before she attended to herself, and it showed in her step back from the carcass as she nodded towards it.

It was such a treat indeed. “The carcass is large enough, we can all dig in at the same time. How about that?” It seemed like the best solution, because all of their jobs had been important in terms of finding and determining the safety of the meal they were about to have. Aquene herself shifted over towards one of the creature’s legs, aiming for the meaty part of the creature’s thigh.

The moose was very large, too big for the three of them to take back on their own. So when the suggestion of them all taking their share came up Kajika was in agreement. He didn't really see any reason not to, there would still be plenty for everyone and then probably some left over.

His amber gaze went to Siyet as she suggested that he have first dibs since he'd made the suggestion to make sure it was safe first. Then it moved to Aquene when she suggested that they all dig in at the same time. Kajika nodded along with this. "I think there's plenty here and no reason why any of use should have to wait their turn."

That seemed the best course of action and besides if they all ate at once then they could get the carcass moved faster.

Siyet couldn't help but smile at the other two. They were just both...so awesome. Both wanting to share it together, and wanting to all act as equals. This made Siyet happy, and she couldn't contain her smile from the other.

" Well then, shall we?"

Siyet licked her lips in preparation of her meal, and leaned into it, mouth open, ready to take a bite.

The smile brought one to Aquene’s own features. She’d found most smiles infectious and hard to fight. Aquene eagerly dug into her share of the carcass, savoring every bite that she took because she knew how lucky they were to find a piece so big in the middle of winter. They could worry about transporting it after.

Afterwards, the moving it back into a cache was trickier work. The weight was much for the three wolves to carry, but they managed and Aquene made sure to grab a section for Kateri so the girl could have an easy meal. No doubt she would have liked the walk, but she was still nervous about such things and she wanted to dote on her daughter while she still could.
