Lorcán Artemieva
Lorcan was oblivious to the disapproving glare that his pack mate shot across to him. Whilst Mace may have thought his willingness to disclose about the pups residing in the territory was a foolish decision, one which could potentially put the youngest members in danger, the agouti healer felt a need to be honest with the pale woman. It was clear that she was intimidated by them both and Lorcan did not wish to come across as being needlessly harsh towards her.

The male observed as @Rory slunk down low to the ground and submissively avoided both of their gazes. Russet ears perked up as she went on to explain herself and plead for a peaceful exit. Lorcan felt himself relax, just a little, and his face began to take on a more sympathetic expression – before @Aytigin arrived. The healer felt a pang of guilt swell up inside his gut at the male’s comment and his ears flattened in response.

“She was spotted in the brush very close to our borders. We didn’t know what her motives were until just now..” He explained to the newest arrival, flashing the woman an apologetic look.

Golden eyes then looked across to Mace, catching his cool icy gaze and giving him a subtle nod, before his attention returned back to the woman. “You may continue on your way now, unless there was something else that you wanted?” He asked, his voice a touch gentler as he tilted his head to one side in question.

Feeling more comfortable now that he knew the woman to be no threat, Lorcan was content to traipse back into the forests of Hearthwood, leaving Aytigin to escort the pale female away from their borders...

Left it vague in case @Aytigin wants to continue on! :D

This, what ever it was, seemed to be turning into quite the party. It wasn't long after she'd pleaded to be left alone in piece for trespassing on claimed land that another wolf entered the scene, this one much nicer and quite comical despite the seriousness of her offense. She was grateful for Aytigin's attempt to ease the tension --even if his wink made her feel slightly uncomfortable--, considering how hard Mace was staring her down she would assumed she'd grown a second head aside from her trekking on claimed land.

Lorcan spearheaded the rest of the convo, the darker male seemed to have lost interest as soon as he realized that Rory was not a threat and it seemed the older male was content with sending her on her way. She released a sigh of relief for having passed this interrogation.  "No sir, I..." she said, suddenly growing quiet. Her attention moved toward Aytigin, wondering if his gaze from earlier had meant something, then quickly shook the ridiculous thought from her mind, love didn't spring about that quickly. Right?

"I should probably just get going...unless you guys needed anything?" the question was directed more toward the newest comer than Lorcan, who seemed intent to leave after knowing his home was not in immediate danger. She waited, patiently, to see if Aytigin required her company before she would venture off to see what remained of that fleeing prey.

Aytigin totally wants to continue! Guardian dem 2/3

Mace seemed to have lost interest, and Lorcan was apologetic for his actions. Both of which Ayti considered good things. The second male was quick to dismiss the pale woman, but the chocolate-pelted man didn't quite agree with the sentiment. Not exclusively because the lady was beautiful - she was - but because he didn't want to send her off with the assumption that Hearthwood River was full of dicks - it was. But that didn't mean that strangers had to leave their borders thinking such a thing.

He cleared his throat and waved his tail slightly when she asked if they needed anything from her. "I don't necessarily need anything, but if you'd like, perhaps I can accompany you for a moment?" he asked, tilting his head to the side in inquiry. "I don't think it'd be right to send you out alone when you're so shaken up. Wouldn't want you to have a bad impression of the River." The woman had a nice nimbus around her, and under normal circumstances he would be attempting to put the moves on her. But this was much less about flirting and much more about logistics and getting to know her. Their pack could always use more wolves, and it was dominated by men.

Even if he couldn't convince her to stick around, maybe he could at least get her to think about it. She seemed really nice, and he doubted Kisla or Lachesis would turn her away if she was a decent wolf who would contribute to the pack. Which was another reason he wanted to get to know her; if she was a good wolf, then why wouldn't they want her around?

It didn't take long for Aytigin to take the lead, his charming smile caused her own to spread to their length as she stared at the male who seemed so eager to show her around. The rumble in her stomach was quieted only slightly, the stiff wag of her tail the first indication that she welcomed his suggestion before she lifted to her full height to stand beside the dark coated male. He was even more handsome at this distance. "I'd like that." her voice, despite being slightly shaky, was forced with the most flirtatious voice she could muster, embarrassment would quickly follow but this male made her feel at ease--his charm calmed her anxiety.

"For the record, I don't have a bad impression at the slightest. I understand how important your home is to guard and a stranger invading is enough to cause alarm." she was a stranger without a home, and therefore no scent to follow if anything were to happen in claimed land and she understood the reality of her shortcomings. She was happy that Aytigin saw something else in her and was willing to show her around and spend time with her, even considering the chaos she had caused; he made her feel important even despite the misconceptions from earlier. For this, she appreciated him, "I don't know if you caught anything from earlier..." she bit her lip, realizing how silly she sounded just then. He had probably heard little if anything from before his entrance and took this time to catch him up. "I'm Rory. You?" she asked, her head cocking to the side.

I love her so much <3 @Rory

The dark wolf chuckled softly when the woman approached and attempted to reciprocate his flirtatiousness. That was absolutely adorable. "As the lady wishes," he rumbled in return, offering her a semi-dramatic bow to accompany the overdramatic statement. Hazel eyes settled on her pale yellows from underneath, a smile still resting on his maw. She was easily one of the most beautiful women he'd ever come across, and he'd always had a penchant for paler fur. Perhaps there would be nothing wrong with a little bit of flirting this time around - she certainly didn't seem to mind it.

He nodded his head in agreement with her next words. "Yeah, you're right. But it was two against one, and you clearly weren't presenting yourself to be a threat. You looked like you needed someone on your side." Which, in that case, the mocha-colored man was more than happy to be that someone. Which sounded kind of bad, but since when was it a crime to be attracted to and willing to help a beautiful lady?

'I don't know if you caught anything from earlier...' He perked his ears, attention effectively brought back to her. Another, brighter smile pulled at his lips. "It's an absolute pleasure to meet you, Rory," he replied, dipping his head slightly. "My name's Aytigin Delaney, but since that name is long and obnoxious, I go by Ayti." It was kind of nice to be able to have a name he could make fun of. Why the hell his mom had named him that just because it meant moon prince, he'd never understand.

Moving to lead her westerly, toward Turtleback Lake, the massive wolf cast her a glance. "Would you like for me to catch you a fish when we get to the lake? I'm sure you're hungry."

Aytigin is a favorite of mine! :D

His smile was contagious, and she couldn't quite understand how he was able to break down her walls so easily, but he had. She welcomed him as if they had been long lost friends reuniting as if no time had passed, and it didn't hurt that he accepted her despite her flaws. He was okay with the fact that she was a loner, even sticking up for her when the other members were intent on questioning her and for that she would be forever grateful. "You are too kind." she admitted, blushing beneath her pale coat. He wasn't so hard on the eyes either, with eyes the color of caramel...or were they green...blue? She couldn't quite tell, but they made him even more amazing; exotic to say the least.

His name was complicated but she was glad when he had shortened it without her having to memorize it, because Ayti was much easier to remember. Ayti from Hearthwood, she couldn't possibly forget him. "Ayti, it is truly a pleasure." a chuckle slipped from her jaws after the slight dip of his head, as if she were worthy of a bow and mimicked the gesture as if to humor him, she was sure that by now the chocolate male could see that she wasn't the stickler type. At least, she hoped to have come across that way anyway.

When he took the lead she followed without a word, listening when he made mention of catching her a fish. It was perhaps the nicest gesture she'd received from any stranger, and she couldn't quite decline a free meal even if she was too modest to ask him to catch food for her, therefore she was grateful for his offer. "You'd do that for me?" she questioned, tail swaying slow behind her at the idea of food in her stomach. "I'd love that..." and she fell silent, allowing him to lead the way to the lake where they had every intention to stir up trouble.
