Though he held nothing against the yearling-yet, if ever- he wasn't inclined to take his words as gospel. When he'd been Cancer's age he had thought he was anything but stupid, didn't mean he was right though. Back then he'd said and done a lot of silly things, things he regretted to this day. He wasn't going to say as such though, even Askan had the tact to realise it wasn't the best of moves.
So instead he nodded, seemingly pleased with his response."Good."
The Edge Lord did indeed have things he'd rather be doing as of then but...Cancer was still a hard read. What did he want? If it was as simple as being alone then Askan could oblige him, he wasn't his nanny after all, or was he going to coddle him or anyone else here. Slowing to a stop, Askan looked ahead and pointed with his snout.
