Askan watched him go, the slight tick of a smile still remaining on his lips. Bird boy wasn't so bad, he'd come out of his shell a little since he joined, was a little more social, less cagey. It pleased the Selwyn, to know that he'd helped in a way, that his hands off leading style worked for those who remained at the Edge. He didn't baby them, but he watched over his subordinates and was more than willing to steer them back onto the right course if need be. As things stood, the Selwyn had no complaints. All was well.
