Nia Hervok
Side by side or miles apart

Traveling. It took all day. Yet she was here again, at this creek. She'd cross over through the blackberry fields and wonder across the orchard. All the way till she got here and yet no wolves. Nia disliked having to go so far out and away from her mom, given her state, but she felt she must. Briefly she considered dragging Danica along with her but concluded it would be too much for her frail mother. Not to mention would if someone made a move on their territory? She wasn't there to stop them, but maybe knowing someone was coming back would deter strangers. Least...it was all she could hope for.

By the time she'd reached the familiar creek nighttime was settling in, the skies darkening. The Winter Dame glanced up at the stars with a deep sigh. Her tail hung limp, edges of her lips turning down into a frown. Finding wolves to join a pack that was no more was proving a challenging task. Either the nearby lands would be deserted or the few she met just weren't a fit. The creamy woman approached the creek with a rock in her mouth, carefully using it to bust the water. Last time she'd drenched her face, but today she was wiser. The ice gave away just enough for her to reach down and use her teeth to wedge into a crack. With little effort she pulled back unveiling the flowing waters beneath.

The Hervok heir drank her fill, lapping at the crisp refreshment. Her mind was heavy. She was doing all of this for her mom, but what did she want? Flair had brought up some good points...Nia had never known Secret Woodlands. "...Make it your own." She pulled back from her drink to stare up at the twinkling lights over head once more. The sound of a twig snapping caused her to jump, spinning around to look towards the trees. Instinctively her tail lifted and her muscles tensed, "Is someone there?"

"Talking"

i don't belong here, i've gotta move on from here

Keeping his pace smooth, but deliberate, the dark agouti male traversed through the snow with ease having plenty of years of experience under his belt. Though, those years never made it warmer to the male. Winter was always the most dreaded season to live through, but it was an essential one. He was on a mission to find anyone and anything that may give him answers as to why everyone left the Lore so largely. Not one soul he meant had been here before his arrival with Neha. They all happened up the same situation, an abandoned Relic Lore. However, he was going to accept the fact he may not find the answers here. He would move on from it, but it would be nice if he could find the reasoning behind the disappearances.

Traversing through trees towards the creek that he could sense up ahead, he could use a drink. However, before he could get to the bank, he could see a blonde wolf had beat him to the bank. The Vuesain wasn't entirely in the mood to converse, having spent most of his time talking with a certain ebony cloaked female up at the Falls. So the male kept back, to give her privacy and her own time to drink. He would find his own spot along the bank to drink, so the dark agouti male turned away to continue on. However, the female heard him and spoke out toward him.

A heavy sigh left his lips and debating on just moving on still, but instead he turned to escape from the treeline to reveal himself to the bristled blonde woman. Sorry, was just passing through, he muttered, his banner swishing behind him levelly as his mismatched gaze fell upon the female before him.

The blonde woman stayed where she was after he revealed himself from the treeline, his dark agouti frame moving to the bank to grab a quick drink of the crisp, icy water. Once his thirst was quenched, the Vuesain man took a peek over at the stranger. Today he wasn't exactly in the mood to talk, Aleister was merely traveling through these parts to refamiliarize himself with the areas around the mountain range. He spent most of his time speaking with Lila, so instead of waiting for a conversation to occur, the male took his leave from the area giving the blonde woman a short nod as he headed back towards the Cove.
