Stella Vuesain
Stella is near the border and calling for @Leo or any SC member

The young Vuesain woman's steps were even but not rushed as she ascended the pass. Stella's absence had been painfully overlong, and she wasn't bringing great news about their circumstances with her. It felt like a personal failure not to be able to reunite the lost Valle girl with her family, just more poison poured in the wound that had fractured the once allied packs.

A bitter feeling had sat in her stomach for weeks now. She didn't want to lose the friendships that her father had helped to forge. It felt like losing another part of him. But what was she doing out here, other than avoiding home, potentially being the bearer of bad news? Scouting, she reminded herself, involved actually checking in, not just keeping a lone vigil over the outskirts.

Eventually she could put it off no longer, and Stella lifted her head and let out a call. Maybe, she thought, she might run into her brother. Leo seemed ever more dependable than herself at staying close to home, but might be out here yet. If not him, then another wolf might respond to her call, but it was her closest sibling she hoped to answer first.

Leo Vuesain

Leo was stressed. Their numbers were dwindling, Nash was still in recovery and Stella hadn’t been back in a while. Not only did that mean they were down to just a few fully able adults, along with Moon and the yearlings, it was also quickly becoming worrying. The young guardian knew his sister took her scouting role just as seriously as he did his, but it was not normal for her to go this long without checking in.

He didn’t know what to do. For every day that passed, the urge to run out and search for Stella grew more pressing. But the thought of leaving the Lake with so few defenders, especially with Aquene nursing her new pup, filled him with dread. So, he was left frozen, stuck following the same routine, walking the borders everyday while internally growing more and more panicked.

That’s where he was when he heard her call, blessedly close by. There was no pause for thought, no moment of doubt or contemplation, as he set off at full run, not stopping until he was at her side. “Stella,” He gasped, stepping close to clutch her in a firm embrace. No more words were uttered, no questions or accusations, he was just so happy to see her back home.

Diantha Vuesain

Everybody was leaving them.

After Dad died everybody seemed to follow, even if they weren't gone forever like him. Adora went, leaving Diantha sad and confused, and then Mona not long after. This loss did not upset Di as much as the others; Mona had always been mean, especially regarding dad's death. The loss that hit her the most, however, was Stella's. Di didn't understand why her older sister had to go. What had happened with Sephrina was sad, and Isla's disappearance haunted the adults, but why did Stella have to go?

So when she heard her voice Di perked up and sprinted for the border, calling out even before she saw her. "Stellaaaaaaa!" she howled, skidding short of crashing into them and then joining the embrace. "I missed you!"
